This is certainly a great improvement on the VU3 which I am also using. Greater power pass (300w) and the ability to play both speakers from either amp source. Meter swing is more accurate (take a while to set). Mic facility also good. A major improvement is the decent size! Changing back lighting, colour and depth really does make this an addition that does not detract the source quality. Nice switching solenoids. For the money it really does enhance my system. 2 amps and 2 speaker systems with fast switching just makes sense for my use. The remote control is also a major improvement. 10 out of 10 all round

Great item if you want to be able to switch speakers quickly for comparing sets.Can also have 2 amps connected and switch between them at the press of a switch. Had a remote for the functions as well as front panel. You can use a rotating knob on the front panel to increase gain on each channel which gives you a response on the meters even when listening at low volumes which is handy. You can also easily choose from a range of colours and intensities for the meters. I would have given 5 stars buy UK USB plug adapter failed instantly so i had to replace ir. As you can see it nearly matches Teac reference series width which i really like.

Easy to set up, have used this to seperate two amps through one set of speakers and works very well.

Overpriced for a bit of kit that dosent do much

Awful. Clearly the ‘mic mode’ function is broken on this unit. No response from seller and a unit which is useless in my set-up now (only bought it for the ‘mic’ powered VU Meters. Id like a replacement unit but no response means I’m left holding a redundant unit and I’m seriously out of pocket.

Looks fantastic with hifi

I wanted this mainly as a switcher between various amps and speakers, but once linked to my HiFi sudden coolness took over.
