Thus gate is very sturdy and nice looking too. It arrived on time and was easy to assemble. The door latch is easy to use one handed. I highly recommend this gate.

I needed to let the dogs downstairs to my office area but keep them out of the workshop. Works great for that and allows me easy access to the shop. Keeps them out of mischief with all the dangerous stuff in the shop.

We have large dogs that we want to keep out of the living room and these gates are amazing for that purpose. I also have one on my office door to keep the big Butthead out kind of a pain to install, but we have concrete block walls so had to anchor them in, but once they’re in, they’re very sturdy you just have to be careful not to bend the plastic in the latches. Would recommend for kids or pets . I have to say if you had a strong small child it seems like they may be able to bend the latch’s plastic portion. If they’re not a climber or a slammer into should be fine!

Easy to assemble; high quality product easy to open and close. And locks,unlocks very easily, just the right size for medium and small dogs. Best yet dog can't chew this one apart like one of those wooden ones!!!

We had to replace a much older gate and this was a perfect replacement. Easy to install and not terribly bad looking for a child gate. We’re using this as a dog gate and it’s secure.

Tried another, more expensive gate to keep a 10 month old 'doodle' on out deck. It was missing parts and the opening was too small and it didn't screw into the posts, just pressure to keep it in the opening. This looks sleek and is VERY sturdy! No movement whatsoever. He's pretty bossy but it keeps him in check. Great price too. Thanks...

This gate is perfect for us to keep our little dog from other areas of the house. It is easy to open and close, fits the doorway perfectly, is sturdy, and dependably safe. The best part is being able to walk through without stubbing my toe on a bar. Great product!

We don't want our dogs to go down into the basement. We've tried all kinds of barriers from the usual pressure-fit baby gates to heavy folding gates, to baby gates AND folding gates AND chairs and boxes. Somehow our shepherd finds a way through. We usually find a pile of gates and chairs halfway down the stairs and the dog sitting in the middle grinning. This gate screws firmly into the wall on one side and into the wooden post on the other. It's easy to open! I press the release with my thumb and lift with my toe and it unlatches easily. The instructions say that it has to be screwed into a stud. We just used mollybolts and it worked fine. Light weight, easy to install, easy to operate, and it looks really nice. So far our dogs haven't found a way through.

The gate was pretty straight forward to install. Installed on my deck to keep the dog safe. It also looks nice which I like.

Even tho it was kind of annoying to install, it works great & keeps our daughter out of the hallway.

I had no problem installing the gate myself. i am using it outside on top of the stairs to keep the dog from going into the backyard at times when I don't want her to go.
