RnB Innovations ML-3100 Lithium-ion Battery for Minelab FBS Metal Detectors

This is unbelievable! I moved in 2015, and prior to that I hadn't detected for over a year. Here it is 2019 and I got the urge to go detect again...dug out my equipment snd plugged in the RNB battery and its at full charge. Hunted for about 5 hours total over the weekend and its still at full charge. This battery will outlast the detector...I truly believe that. Great Job RNB...thank you for an uncredible upgrade to the etrac!

Nice to have a rechargeable battery pack for my e-Trac that provides many hours of use without the need for constantly recharging the battery pack. That said, there is something quirky about the electrical interface between the battery pack and my e-Trac. On occasion (with the battery pack fully inserted into the e-Trac), my e-Trac will sort of click on when the power button is pressed, but nothing will show up on the screen and the detector will not operate. Most times this can be rectified by removing and re-inserting the battery pack. On one occasion, however, I was only able to resolve things by removing the battery pack for a few minutes before re-installing it to the e-Trac. Not sure if this is an issue with the battery or with the e-Trac. All in all, this is an occasional nuisance and I'm still very happy with upgrade to a lithium-ion battery.

I purchased this here on Amazon. It doesn't take but a couple hours to charge. I've used it in my Explorer SE for about 6 hours now and the battery indicator has not moved yet! Wow! I wish I had this ten or so years ago. It would have made life a lot easier without having to take my car charger to charge the rechargeable NiMH pack and extra rechargeable batteries to put into my empty battery pack.Great product!

I love these battery replacements for the Minelab metal detectors. Because they are rechargeable they save a fortune over using standard batteries. I keep on in thee detector and another on charge and that is enough to power the detector 24/7.

I put this battery in and took my etrac out for 6 hunts ranging from 3 hours to 30 mins long each. All total about 11 hours and the level never came off full. I thought, there's no way that is right. I removed the battery and put it on the charger and in about 4 mins, the light went back red and it was fully charged. Insane how long a charge lasts! Awesome battery!!!

Crazy high capacity. Reviews were right about this thing being lighter and lasting WAY WAY longer. If I hunted 4 hours a day, I bet this would last a month. Doesn't drain on its own nearly as much as original battery. I left it in my car for weeks, came back, still 4 bars!

Arrived quickly, but the charger or battery (or both) are defective: The battery will not fully charge. It spent 6 hours plugged into the charger and never got beyond one-third of capacity. Will attempt a return, but what a hassle.
