I adore this, a must have item for any guitar/bass player
The Fender Mustang Micro Plus is one of the best things I’ve ever bought!! I live in a very small house where every sound is heard in every room. So playing guitar with an amp, or even an acoustic guitar is a disruption to everyone. Setting up amps and pedals just to practice with headphones is a PITA and that’s where the Mustang comes in. It’s so small and easy to use it makes practicing anywhere easy and convenient. What’s even better I’d that The preset effects are great and make playing so much more fun. I also really love the ability to connect to Bluetooth so that I can play along with songs from Spotify, YouTube or Songstrr. My son and I use it for both bass and guitar and it works great for either. Volume control is nice and convenient and so far it seems very durable. I hope to have and use it for years to come. Obviously the battery isn’t easily replaceable, so I’m hoping that lasts for a long time.

Pull the trigger on this - I did and have no regrets
I love this little thing. It makes picking up my guitar and practicing so hassle free. And for such a small device, it has some pretty cool tonal capabilities. If you download the related app to your phone, you have a very intuitive and easy user interface to makw edits to and then save your presets. There's even an on line forum where people upload their presets so you can download them and use them. The device has blue tooth receiver capabilities as well - you can pair it with your phone and play along with your favorite bands. It also has a tuner built into it, which is convenient. I've owned this thing for about 5 months now. It has not given me any issues. This is one of the best guitar related purchases that I've made. Ever. Pull the trigger on this - I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Awsome little amp
Awesome little amp. I had the older one and it was good, but this one has the screen so you can cycle through the different sound types quickly. I have had many different brands of these, but this one is really nice and small, has great sound and alot of features, and easy to navigate.

Best Practice Tool
This is the best practice tool any level of guitarist should have. It has plenty of effects that sound great on headphones. The amp selection could be a little slim but all sound well. It can be wired with the USB C cable directly to a phone and will record direct audio on a video. I had the boss katana go previously but the fender mustang micro plus does sound better. The boss wants you to use its own amps that don’t sound like anything, but here I can get a 5150, Marshall, hiwat, box, fender amps and more. I honestly put more hours on this device than my Tone Master Pro. I easily put in more than 7 hours a week on the couch playing with my AirPod Max ( noise iso sounds beautiful with a few of the presets like echo dome). I use the tuner without headphones when doing setups. Thing is legit for the price. I even use the headphones output to go onto a Headrush Go, and still it sounds great. I can be locked down in a hotel room and have the ability to jam like no one else’s business. Expect a 3rd gen in the future!

Pretty cool, but it's one of those ideas that sounds cool until you try to use it
It worked great, but it's very clumsy having this gadget hanging off your guitar. For example, you have to be very careful putting the guitar on a stand. Another problem is that it's virtually impossible to see the controls and display or manipulate the buttons when it's on the guitar in playing position. The only time I would see it as practical is when you're traveling and want to practice quietly. For home practice with a headphone I spent another $50 on a Fender LT25 amp which lets you do all the same stuff, including use Fender Tone . . . plus it has a speaker!

Solid and affordable option for practice
Really cool option for folks that need a quiet practice option. The app works well and it produces great tone.

Loads of tweakable presets and the ability to create your own with the free downloadable fender app
Be easy on the slider switches. I have the original as well as this newer version and on the original, from turning it off and on so many times and not being careful not to press down so hard,I destroyed the on/off switch. It stays on so I can still use it as long as I keep it charging. I did not learn my lesson with the first one and I ruined the tuner/tap tempo switch on the new one. The reason for it is I was pressing down as I was sliding the switch rather than just sliding it. It was my bad. However I contacted Fender and I received a new one about a week later. So when you use the switches it's best to just use your fingernail or guitar pick to slide them whichever way. You can just use your finger to just don't press down. I'm a little bit of a klutz so maybe others won't have that problem. The older version has some really good presets on it but the new one has even more and is far more tweakable by using the app that is free to download You can modify any of those presets however you like and even create your own. Just make sure to get proper earbuds or headphones or it won't sound right. I had to do a little research on what frequencies electric guitars generally produce and if you get an earbud/headphone set that goes from 20-40,000Hz, it will sound as it should. I spent a little extra money and purchased a brand called 1MORE Quad Driver earphones (wired buds) and it sounds as good as it's going to get in such a small package. It doesn't really matter the brand tbh. Just check the frequency response before buying them. I use them everyday when I am outside with my animals and I put both through a lot of work. I love them both but get the newer one for sure.

Definitely worth a shot!
Pro: I can say that the Fender Mustang Micro is one of the most bang for buck products out there for at home/hobbyist playing with guitar/bass. I enjoy the many presets that comes pre-loaded and have little to complain about when it comes to sound quality when trying to play an acoustic sound to Metallica rip your face off metal. Con: The issue I have had is that after the first year or so, the build quality has began to affect the fun of having this and limits how much I use it. The preset selection buttons only go higher now instead of being able to go back and forth, so I have to cycle through the presets (that means if I like playing the 1 preset and try something else then I have to press the button 100+ times to go back to what I was using) I don't play everyday and I have a separate amp that I play on most of the time but after the ~50 or so times I used this it is really disappointing once when I pick it up and I remember its broken. I used to enjoy throwing this in when hanging out with the fam and I want to get a little practice or stay quiet and hear some squeals but it has become obsolete for me. Overall: A great product for a hobbyist and getting some quiet practice in, but it is just like anything else music related... its expensive and when it breaks it hurts your heart. I wont be getting this again and I think my case is an anomaly so, please give it a shot! I just cant speak to how long it will last even as a beginner that meticulously cares for their equipment.

Amazing piece of kit as expected from Fender
I love this and knew I would. We live in a digital age now where we don't have to collect many amps and effects for a very high price, just to be able to try some of the classic Fender sounds. Well worth the price, it functions very well, basic but robust enough for me to leave plugged into the guitar while I am not using it. I bought a great pair of headphones to go with it and that has been worth pairing them up, i just want to try it with a Bluetooth amplifier like a Blackstar to be able to test the output with a speaker. I imagine it will be just as amazing as with headphones. With 50 fun and classic presets and 50 extra spaces to make your own using an app on Android for me, using a Samsung tablet I can create different amp and fx combos easily giving great versatility easy enough for anyone to edit create new sounds. Fender is one of the most famous guitar brands synonymous with classic American and UK styles, all easily created and fun to jam with on this. My battery is easily lasting me 5 hours playing and I'm 43 now so don't play that often but still daily and it keeps well charged, while also charging very quickly when needed. I love using it on my Epiphone Sheraton where it has the lead jack on the front of the body of the guitar so it sits like a little computer, fitting perfectly for ease of use and style. It has a few buttons and switches and a dial on the front with a small screen, its been made to use with ease straight from the box. I can recommend this to anyone but it's perfect for me to save money on electric bills for amps when at home and using headphones, while it is also great for travelling, you can even walk around town with headphones on if you want. I want to try the Vox ones and Marshall bit I am pleased I started with Fender as I could never afford Fender amps above the other amps I chose over the years so this has been great to fill that gap.

Perfect first headphone amp for trying electric guitar effects
I came from playing acoustic guitar, so when I bought my first electric guitar I initially used a cheaper plug-in headphone amp just to practice quietly. It worked, but I quickly noticed two problems: it had a noticeable hum that got louder with the volume, and it only gave me one basic sound, which got boring pretty quickly. I had the Mustang Micro Plus on my wish list for a while because it seemed expensive for someone just getting into electric guitar. Eventually I bought it, and I was immediately impressed. The sound quality was a huge step up from my previous headphone amp, with no annoying hum, and there are plenty of different amp sounds and effects to experiment with. You can also customize things further from an iPad or phone. For a beginner, I think this is especially valuable because it lets you explore different guitar sounds and effects before spending money on separate pedals, amps, and other gear. You can plug in your headphones, try different styles, and figure out what you actually like. If you're new to electric guitar and want to experiment with effects while practicing quietly, I would start with this before buying a bunch of other gear. It completely changed the experience for me.

Worth every cent!
Fantastic product, the app is diverse and intuitive to use and has a wide variety of default presets to choose from. The device's built in tuner is accurate and very useful. The ability to play alongside your favorite songs with the bluetooth backtrack feature. The compatibility with any normal headphone jack is also a nice to have. You can connect this device to your ipad, phone, macbook etc. Its very portable and light and easy to put in your gig bag.
