Great sounding practice and gear learning tool.
Useable sounds, some configuration sound awesome. Fun to jam with Youtube lessons or any portable music player via Bluetooth. Quite good sounding device for the price.Downside is can't connect app through Android. Apple app works though. It provides 8 Fender amps, 2 Marshall, Vox, Peavey, Orange, Hi Watt, Friedman some boutique amps and some Metal amps.Amp simulation is not bad, however personally owning a 65 Deluxe Reverb and a 65 Princeton Reverb they did not work hard to make these classic amps shine. Tone wise this device is remarkable, especially high gain setups, however breakup/crunch is always VERY difficult to repro with digital equations, the main reason I'm not a big fan of digital processing in my electric guitar / bass signal path. Big fan of digital processing on acoustic guitar and vocal signal though.High gain amps are well reproduced, as well as some of the tweeds are very exciting, but the black faces could use a bit of polishing. The Bass Brakers are awesome but they're no longer available. What I prefer about these simulators is that I can discover both classic amps and effects. I discovered great Bass Guitar Amps and Effects a long time ago with a multi effect and I went and got the real amps and pedals. While playing with the Marshall models. I stumbled on Friedman amp (FBE-100) which I found the most exciting sounding amp of all the model collection. So I started looking closely at Friedman gear...Cool gadget, fun and convenient to practice with, sounds great but will stick with the real tube amps for sound though. I don't imagine myself ever recording with this.

Small but mighty!!
Small but mighty!! I am extremely happy with this little unit. It's so convenient to just plug this into my Strat, put my headphones on and enjoy! No cables, no pedals, no stress. Easy to use and sounds great! The android app connects easily and works great. It has so many great presets that I haven't even started to try setting up my own but it looks like it will be really easy to do. My only criticism is that it doesn't work with wireless headsets. The audio out is through a 1/8 inch audio jack. I highly recommend this unit.

Great Tones and Functionality
The Mustang micro plus is a massive improvement over the original Mustang micro. I liked the original but the ability to alter the presets, create your own and use all the functions on the Fender tone app is just superb. Actually I find even without adjusting the settings the tones are better than the original product. I use a Fender GTX 100 modeling amp in my studio and record with it. I hooked up the Mustang Micro plus and recorded directly and it was near identical. Really great product. Excellent price for what you get. Already sold my original Mustang Micro.

exceedingly useful practice tool. High quality tones and effects.
This is an amazing product. Unboxed it, charged it, played it for 2.5 hours straight. The sounds, effects, tone quality are top of the class. Now I can play all night and not wake the family or neighbors. AND you can bluetooth practice tracks via your phone or ipad. The tone quality for a little more than 100 bucks? Awesome.

A Must purchase for travel and quiet nights.
Hands down this is the best purchase I have made in a long time. The Mustang Micro Plus (MMP) is an awesome tool with a lot of what I had hoped the last version was. I have a lot of variations of feet pedals. This tool and app give you 1/2 of what I have for 1% or less of the cost. If you want to practice during travel; work breaks and/or other non traditional times this is a must have. It is cheap; works flawlessly; has long battery life; gives a lot of variations; and like apple says just works. I really like the original Mustang Micro but it was limited in capability. Don’t get me wrong if I was King for a day at Fender, I would implement some changes and ideas, but overall it ROCKS!

Great practice gadget. Get a long cable for the headphones which you will use.
It's a modeler in your palm, with enough power to drive headphones or earbuds. For newbies: In the early days of electric guitars, amplifiers had no bass, no treble, and lots of distortion. Guitarists, engineering whizzes that they are, thought this was just GREAT. Now we have amps with lots of bass, lots of treble, hardly no distortion. So we used highly advanced electronics to get rid of this lovely clean sound. That is called modeling. You have to look hard to find an amp which does not model electronics from the age of vacuum tubes or which does not actually use vacuum tubes. As a modeler, it's fine. There's a reasonable set of models, including a setting which attempts to model an acoustic guitar, built in. [The acoustic model is limited by the fact that real acoustics usually don't have as much sustain as any electric, so.] With a free app, you can tweek your own models to your heart's content. The real strength here is that with this thing, earbuds, and probably an extra cable to give you slack between the two, you have a pocket-sized practice rig. I use it for travel; it fits nicely in the pocket of my (very well constructed) travel case.

Impressive
Great upgrade from the original. Better sound and a lot more customization. Also works great with the app. Would definitely recommend. Battery life is great and it’s the money in my opinion.

Great Sound, options, and user experience with the display!
I own and tested several other options, but this one gets top marks. The display is just what it needed to make the user experience easy. The built in options are great and sound fantastic through my studio headphones. The app is cool. There are great options and it makes a great tool for practicing in quiet environments. The built in amp gets pretty loud. The only thing I have not completely tested is the actual battery life. I am hoping it is good as I really like this device!
