works great because tape is sticky
i didnt think that i would review this product, but because ive been having difficulty with the 3m version that doesnt stick and hold well on the wall, i must say that this "Universal Frame Hanger" actually holds very well! It was worth trying out for myself. Comes off just like the 3M one too.

Good adhesive strips, only if you have smooth walls
These adhesive strips are great for hanging pictures, but they are not recommended for use on texture painted walls. My walls have very light texture and satin paint. The strips do not adhere well so I was unable to use them.

I let the hook set for over an hour on a smooth painted wall, hung a picture that weighs less than a pound, and 5 min later both the hook and pic crashed to the floor.Returning.

Simple method of hanging an item to a wall without damage, if it will work for your application
These work as advertised if your aim is to have a means of hanging an item from a wall without driving a nail into the wall. It's easy to go on and easy to remove.Consider whether it will work for you. The sawtoothed hangers I got will hang a lightweight (much less than one pound) whiteboard with a sawtooth hanging bracket at the back, center. For that purpose at least, it's recommended.

So easy to use!
I normally depend on my husband to hang pictures, but with these little hooks I can easily do it myself. I love that these work on a variety of surfaces (I use them at home on drywall and also cinderblocks at my work office). I would definitely order these again!

Pretty good for canvases
These hooks do well even for canvases. They stick pretty well to the wall

Hook diameter
The small diameter of the hang hook didn’t allow it to fit the small triangle hook on my picture. What is the diameter of that small hook?
