For the price point, I figured I’d get something decent enough to cruise around on, maybe a little clunky, maybe a few corners cut. Nope. This bike came out swinging.First off, the build quality? Solid. It doesn’t feel cheap or rattly like a lot of budget-friendly e-bikes. The frame is sturdy, the tires grip well, and the styling has that clean, retro-cool vibe without trying too hard. It legit looks and feels like a higher-end ride.Now let’s talk performance—because this thing moves. The motor gives you that satisfying boost when you need it, and the pedal assist is smooth, not jerky like some other budget models. Whether you’re cruising around town or taking it up a hill, it keeps up without making you feel like you’re about to blow out your knees or your battery.The battery life is solid too. I’ve gotten great range out of it, and charging doesn’t take forever, which is always a win. Honestly, I’ve ridden more expensive e-bikes that didn’t perform half as well as this one.If you’re on the fence, let me just say: for the price, the Retrovolt Jasion is a hidden gem. SO MUCH YES!After one month of use, my Jaison RetroVolt has given me over 500 miles of pure joy. This is my first eBike. I am in my mid 50's 6'0" 280lbs (for reference) and it fits me absolutely perfect. The bike is built very well..like a tank..and the assembly required is a piece of cake. There has not been one single problem or part that has not worked or broke. EVERYONE that sees this bike loves it and has to mention it. The bike has become a tool for getting me out of the house and to explore all parts of the city. And for the price?? yes...so much yes...I don't think you will find a better deal. I will update this post as needed in the future.

My bike ran for one month and I have an E-22 error code. Have replaced the controller, display screen twice, the cable harness twice, the main cable through the frame and still have a non-working bike. Have asked to have a new bike shipped and I’m told no, I asked for a refund I’m told no. I can only communicate through email for service, the call center has zero authority to make any decisions. Have sent over 100 emails over 3 months made multiple calls and all they do is ask for photos I’ve already sent, and they keep sending me the same parts to replace. Stay away!Update: after writing a review I was contacted asking if I would like a full refund, I said yes and here is the response. Remember I have been dealing with them before the bike was a month old. Here is the response I just recieved.Dear Customer, Thanks for reaching out. I am so sorry we can't help you with a return cause you have owned the bike over than 1 month. Could you send me a picture or a video to show what's going on with the display? We support 1 year warranty. We can diagnose the issue better. We will arrange to ship out the replacement parts after confirmation. Looking forward to your reply! Excellent bike, I like it! Full throttle works perfect and I also use pedal assist, battery can work about 10-12 miles per charge, it's safe and comy, you can control speed, the maximum speed I got is 33, it's quite enough, without battery charge it's too heavy and difficult to use pedal assist only, so I recommend to have charger on you, so you will have an opportunity to restore some battery charge to get back with comfort and convenience!
