Absolutely fantastic
My husband and I purchased 2 of these for a camping trip in the backcountry in Colorado. We were Jeep camping, not backpacking in, but these had to fit in our suitcases and be light enough for our flight out. These were very light but very durable. After practicing once, I could assemble and disassemble these in about 5 minutes each. What's great is there are picture directions on the verso side on the cot if you forget which way the supports attach. We are tall, husband is 6'3", 170lbs, and I am 5'10", 135lbs. We fit on these perfectly and with a sleeping bag, there was no need for an air mattress. These were actually more comfortable than air mattresses because I wasn't constantly slipping off when trying to turn over. Another perk was being able to have extra room in the tent because you can stash stuff under the cot. And while these are still very low to the ground, for the first time I didn't freeze to death overnight because we weren't sleeping on cold air on the ground. Very good purchase, very nicely priced, and assembly was super easy.

Best Sleep I've had Camping
I'm a side sleeper and as any other side sleeper knows, without some good padding you can get sore hips during the night especially while out camping. I use this cot for overlanding because it packs up small and is lightweight. Setup is SO easy! I have to say sleeping on the cot was some of the best sleep I've had out camping. No sore hips in the morning and less tossing and turning throughout the night. Quality and durability so far have been excellent! Love it.

Moto camping recommended
This cot did what it was designed to do. Used it to sleep on during a moto-camping trip for two nights. It was better than sleeping on a thin air mattress on the ground, but it still had some pressure points. The cot would be best served coupled with an air mattress for more comfort and insulation. All in all it served my needs. The cot is relatively lightweight and compact for carrying on a motorcycle and is easy to setup and take down. I recommend it for moto camping.

Very comfortable; low [revised - now high!] quality materials
Revised 6/19/2025 Holy crap have they tricked this out since I bought my last one! The new, mesh style model not only eliminates all of the flaws of the original model, but they added a number of additional mods that make it superlatively better. The factory lashings now keep all of the poles snug and compact, the main support bar is now collapsible making the packed footprint significantly smaller, and even the material used on the support claws themselves is of much better quality. I bought the four foot model as I though the three foot model wasn't as supportive as I'd have liked. This absolutely proved to be the case. I can't gush over this thing enough. I was already tepidly impressed with the original. Now I'm boiling! *********************** Let me state outright that this is one of the most comfortable cots I've ever slept on. You can sleep in any position - side, back, or stomach - and the support/give is indistinguishable from a decent mattress. If only they used slightly better materials! I've already had one of the locking hooks break off. I'd also appreciate a slightly bigger stuff sack. The one they provide only *just* fits the components. Another two inches of better quality fabric here and more robust support bars would make this a universally carried piece of kit.

Awesome cot
Super lightweight cot. Kind of a luxury item I take out occasionally when ATV camping. Fits in my bivvy tent. Comfortable and supports my weight (160 lb 5’8”). Super easy setup, sturdy.

Cannot beat for sleeping outside in a hot climate or places with thorns or rocks.
I slept on this cot everyday for four months while cycling across Africa. I was very happy with it once I figured out how to put it together. I slept right on the cot without a pad at first. It was incredibly comfortable and kept me cool in the hot climate because the air could circulate under the cot. Also, not having to sleep on the ground that was heated by the sun all day really helped with trying to stay cool. The thorns in Africa were very bad, i never had to worry about puncturing a sleeping mattress or a repair. After about 6 weeks, the cot started to sag a little when the material stretched out. I was lounging on it outside the tent as well, so it was getting a lot of use. I added a small inflatable sleeping pad I had in reserve and it was perfectly comfortable again. If you weighed more than 150 lbs, I would look for a cot that had four legs instead of three for the added support. It packed up very small and was very lightweight. Definitely one of my best purchases for keeping me comfortable on this trip.

Pretty decent set up, but..
I like how low profile this cot is. really useful in my profession of a wildland firefighter, but it seems to Collapse if I roll over just a little too hard. I weigh 180 and it seems to me that when I assemble it the main poles are lined up. They’re parallel but not adjacent. Otherwise great product.

As advertised and better than expected
I just received this product so haven't spent the night yet but need to set the record straight from the negative review below. This is incredibly strong and easy to assemble. I made a mistake my first setup and inserted the legs inverted. When inserting the legs, look at the picture and turn the attach bar so that it is shaped like a U. This spreads the legs out far enough that the cot is tight. The construction of this cot is super impressive. It is super strong for a 4 lb cot. I did not expect it to be so heavy duty. I love that it only has three legs to assemble versus the 4 or more of other similar cots. I cannot wait to set it up in my tent and get off the ground. 1/22/2020 update: I have used this multiple times now and stand by the 5 star rating. The only downside is that it requires a lot of strength to lock and unlock the legs so it may not be an option for some people. I am actually in the process of buying a second one for my camping friend. The small space this takes up is worth the price.

Keeping this one!
I tried a number of different affordable, lightweight cots, and this one is the one I'm keeping. 3 sturdy legs makes the setup and packup very quick. It holds my 6'2" / 186cm + 115kg weight without any concern. The feet are broad and stable. No risk of damaging the tent floor.

Sturdy Product
For the price it is a decent product. Quick and Easy to assemble. Pack up size is a little bigger than more compact 6 brace hiking/travel/ camping cots. I bought this to take motorcycle camping. It packs up to about the same size as a 2 man tent. Set it up in about 2 minutes. Trick is to make sure you get the braces facing the right way. Otherwise the legs will appear to be too short. I'm 5'7 and 190 lbs. I set it up on grass and twisted and turned. Even held the brace rails and did push ups and it didn't budge. Goodbye Air mattresses.

Can't beat the price for the weight
This will get the job done and it's fairly sturdy and light.
