Alpro - Coconut Professional - 1L (Case of 12)

I love this milk! It’s my all time favourite plant milk for coffee. It’s a shame it’s so expensive, but it’s inline with other suppliers prices. It gives a really good micro foam if steamed correctly, you get a good milky colour in your coffee, rather than other, rubber plant milks.I prefer the flavour of this milk to regular coconut milk, which I find too strong for coffee. This has more soya milk and less coconut, so it has a softer flavour than coconut milk.I’ve been ordering this milk for over a year, and it’s normally very well packaged and comes in the original cardboard tray, shrink wrapped to hold them together, and then in a cardboard box for shipping. Today’s delivery arrived loose in the box, with shredded card and folded card to “protect” the cartons, but they weren’t tightly packed and arrived bashed and covered in cardboard dust. Really disappointing packaging today.

Lockdown prevented the daily visit to Costa for the breakfast Coconut Cinnamon latte, (plus bacon roll :-)). So decided to buy my own machine and source the same coconut milk they used. WOW! This is all I use for my lattes and even better for the breakfast smoothies (banana, blueberry and coconut milk). This is 100% the best and only plant based milk I use….

For the last couple of years I've tried a wide range of alternative milks, in my attempts to reduce dairy and have a more eco-friendly diet. They've all been disappointing - too watery, separating in the coffee, no flavour, wrong flavour. This product is finally the answer. It has such a great consistency - if anything creamier than milk (despite being lower in fat and sugar than semi-skim). You get great froth, no separation and a proper offset for the bitter coffee taste, that is a nice compliment (coconut) but doesn't overpower the coffee. 10/10.My only gripe would be that even in a bulk buy of 12, it's still more than £2 a carton, making it pretty expensive. However, I'd be lying if I said this would put me off buying it again, which I surely will when I run out.

Great Taste

After falling in love with Costa's limited edition coconut vanilla latte, I began to panic when they stopped selling it (first world problem I know).A quick question to a friendly Costa employee/barista and I have now sourced the exact same coconut milk used in their coffee shops.The Alpro Coconut for Professionals is absolutely lovely. It is designed to be used in hot beverages and foamable. I use it in my Nesprosso Aeroccino and it works an absolute treat. I cannot rate it highly enough. I love it so much I have even started drinking it cold on it's own.Do not mistake this with Alpro's standard coconut milk found in all supermarkets as that really doesn't taste the same. The professional one tastes more coconutty if possible and now I won't even touch the standard one.

Amazing coconut milk!Super ultra creamy on breakfast cereals, Cake baking & all milky drinks.I’m a total convert, having used regular ALPRO coconut & ALPRO coconut UHT - this is by far so superior in taste and depth of flavour. No need for a special coffee machine, just pour into regular drinks and the taste is really delicious.I highly recommended this to all ALPRO lovers ....you won’t be disappointed!!

I discovered this absolute wonder at Costa after buying a coconut flat white. Ended up buying some of these and with my Nespresso Creatista Plus I can replicate this gorgeous coffee at home!It's worth noting that you can buy Alpro coconut milk from the supermarket but it's not the pro (at least not that I've found) and it'll separate when heated and doesn't froth well at all. With the pro you just froth it exactly as you would normal milk.If you like coconut and coffee then this is for you!
