The Trashy Fab Bag is a grocery tote made from 60 used plastic drinking water sachets with a cover/base made from off-cut fabric pieces obtained from a local market in Accra. Hand-made in Ghana the Trashy Fab Bag is both durable and strong, holding over 18Kg. When not in use it folds conveniently into its zip-up base for easy storage. This is a truly eco-friendly product as it is completely recycled and replaces countless single-use plastic bags which are no longer needed.

Beautiful, strong - a real "bag for life".
Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous, beautifully made, tough and strong yet works of art, so useful, and the postage is nothing when you realise it's come from Africa! Even more beautiful in the flesh than i imagined. And they were so thoughtful, i ordered three with a gap, and they sent different colourways in each one, so that i had three that were each a separate work of art:) I never write product reviews, but i loved this so much. This is the real Trashy Bags people by the way. And this is a 'bag for life', unlike the supermarket ones, that will both last that long, and save lives, human and others, both by helping the poor and preventing the deaths of sea creatures. I love this project. I keep one in the car at all times, and one for shopping.
