I recently bought Kraken Black Spiced Rum, 1L, and it has quickly become my favorite choice for rum. Here’s why I think it deserves a full 5-star rating: Pros: Rich and Bold Flavor: The flavor profile of Kraken Black Spiced Rum is incredibly rich and bold. With notes of vanilla, caramel, and cinnamon, it offers a smooth yet robust taste that is perfect for sipping neat or mixing into cocktails. Picked up this Kraken gift set and it’s genuinely a lovely little package. The rum itself is brilliant — really rich and smooth with that classic spiced flavour Kraken’s known for. It tastes great on its own, over ice, or even just topped up with a bit of water or Coke. Super easy to drink and not too harsh at all. Can't go wrong with Kraken. The glass that comes with it is proper nice too. It’s heavier than I expected, with a cool smoky effect and the Kraken logo/ tentacle design on the side. Looks really good next to my bottles. Definitely a nice piece to own The packaging is also really well done — makes it feel like a genuine gift rather than just throwing a bottle and cheap glass together. Definitely worth picking up either for yourself or as a present for someone else, absolutely amazing deal for the price.

Kraken is one of the best tasting spiced rums. Drink with Ice or on its own. Full lt bottle. The strength is just right for me, a run rat. Goes down too easy. It's a good mixer and makes lovely rum & coke.

Accept no substitutes - this is simply the best spiced rum on the market. You will not get a better rum at this price - Amazon has 70cl at £20 as do most supermarkets when on offer - and it is better than spiced rums priced higher like Rumbullion and Crusty Juggler. It's got a smooth, refreshing and not overpowering taste. It does not foam up when mixed like cheaper rums, giving a pleasing consistency in the glass. It mixes brilliantly with Coke, Diet Coke and Coke Zero (I use Diet Coke). I would not recommend mixing with Lemonade but it does mix with Ginger Beer very well. I have not found any rum as good as Kraken, it's the best and it's the best value for money, but if you do need an alternative, I'd say Black Magic, Crusty Juggler or Captain Morgan Black Spiced Rum are the only alternatives. Avoid Sailor Jerry and Dead Man's Fingers.

Gave as a present but once opened i did not last long so must of been good

The item itself was as described and well packaged. Great price too. Can’t review the taste as bought as a gift. 5* for the product. I was told upon ordering that as it contains alcohol I would need to produce ID. The delivery driver, knocked on my door, when I answered the door the boxed bottle had been left outside my front door. Visible from the road. Driver was already back in the van, therefore Driver didn’t ask for ID, driver wouldn’t have known my age, it was dark outside, he drove off as soon as I opened the door. Yet I got a text via Amazon a couple of minutes later stating that it was handed direct to me and stated my name. Which was a blatant lie! 0* for delivery.

Un très bon rhum. Le goût épicé est original. Il est bien dosé, il n'est pas trop fort. Ce rhum peut convenir aux amateurs de rhum comme aux plus expérimentés. Il est possible de faire de nombreux cocktails avec ce rhum. Un incontournable pour les caves. De plus, la bouteille avec les tentacules est très jolie.

Buen ron caribeño, sabor muy agradable y a gran precio

... aber auf Grund einer Empfehlung eines Freundes habe ich ihn versucht. Ich habe extra den stärkeren genommen, weil er meiner Meinung nach intensiver schmecken sollte. Ich muss sagen, dass der Kraken wirklich gut ist. Wer auf Rum's mit angenehmer und nicht zu dominierender Süße steht und einem wirklich angenehmen Bouquet, wird hier fündig. Für den Preis für mich ein klares Daumen hoch! Meiner Meinung nach ein Rum, der in keiner Genießer-Sammlung fehlen sollte. :-) Das Henkel-Fläschchen hat schon so manchen Schmunzler hervorgerufen und ist eine lustige Idee.
