Works great
Easy, compact, but sturdy. Adjusting length to what is needed for the task is a big plus.

Good ladder
It's exactly what it states. Be careful closing it though you will get those fingers pinched if you're not paying attention. And it's nicely compact when closed.

The ladder that you love to hate.
So I got this ladder because I am a home inspector. I often inspect Houses that do not have a pull down ladder for the attic access. I am giving this item 3 stars because it does exactly what I need it to do, I just wish it did it better. Traditional A-frame ladders are too big and scuff the walls. Smaller A-frame ladders are too short when you set them up. This ladder fits my needs and compacts small enough to fit in my trunk. I do not need a roof rack, and I can carry it with me all the time.I have had other extension "A-Frame" multi positional ladders before and there are some things to consider before buying this particular ladder. The 4 gripes I have about this ladder are as follows.1. There is no master extension release. This ladder requires you to work 2 individual releases for each and every step. It would be nice to have a single latch to use.2. The position of the release latches are dangerous. There are several warning labels all involving the use of the extension release latches. In order to use them you must grasp each side of the ladder and push in the switches with your thumbs, and the weight of the ladder causes the step to retract. Because the latch for each step is located below each step, the ladder retracts as a uncontrolled fall. I can see how someone could easily pinch the skin between their thumb and index finger. The manufacturer is clearly aware of it judging from the effort they put in to warrn you of doing exactly that.3. The positional lever is in a terrible location. Other ladders that allow for multiple use functionality have a realese on the exterior or the ladder. This unit comes with a flimsy wire lever that extends over the top of a step. You actually end up stepping on the lever that controls if your ladder as an A frame or Single frame extension ladder. The lever should be longer so it runs under the step you are intended to use so as not to break or engage the lever while the ladder is in use.4. The ladder does not lock in the retracted formation. It instead comes with a flimsy velcro strap that goes around the rungs of the ladder. I don't mind the functionality of the velcro strap as I do the strength of the velcro they chose. It is not very strong and the ladder rungs either end up pinching your fingers or the velcro let's loose and extends onto your foot. Both of these have happened to me.

Cool Ladder
I bought this to be able to access my high roof van for cleaning and other work and found that I use this ladder in my garage too instead of another step ladder. It is solid, easy to use, and I installed some pads where the part of the ladder rests on my van in order not to scratch it. It's cool that it collapses so small and is easily stored and taken with me.

Sturdy and easy to use
I use on the job when I need a light weight, easy to handle ladder. I probably wouldn't use for working with a product that could accumulate on the ladder (concrete, joint compound, etc) because it'd likely prevent the ladder from retracting, unless cleaned off first.

Unable to use
The rungs are 16 inches apart. We have other ladders that have rungs 12 inches apart. My husband is not able to bend his knees very much and cant use the ladder. I am only 5’2” tall and it is difficult for me to step this high.

Para seguir desplegando peldaños hay que subir a otra escalera. Absurdo.
The media could not be loaded.
