These light bulbs are cool and bright, perfect for reading or relaxing. They are energy efficient too, so I will definitely get more in the future.

While there are seemingly some people that prefer being practically blinded by their own lightbulbs I've been a big fan of cool white ever since I ended up with one of those fancy-ish smart led bulbs and so wanted to have cool white in the other rooms and this which gives you a whole pack for a seemingly good price was just what I needed. Since out sockets are already bayonet they were pretty easy to set up and lights up to the room just as much as I would want, whilst I don't really have the equipment to check how power saving they really are or how long the ones I have with last for they do seem relatively recommendable. I suppose some people may have expected them to be a little bigger though.

These LED bulbs have a golf ball spherical shape. They are a type known as the B22 bayonet , because they fit into the standard sizes of sockets. There is also a large bayonet bulb with a much larger spherical shape, so do not confuse the two very different sizes. Both types of bulb have a push down and twist action to connect to the light socket. Testing them, I found they fitted into the socket effortlessly.Technically, although these LED bulbs use only 6 watts of electrical power, they are the equivalent of the old incandescent 60 watts bulbs, so the energy savings are very large and worth having in an age of high energy prices. They have a 180 degrees wide beam angle, so they illuminate a large area of the room. The 6500 Kelvin and 600 lumens output, as well as the Colour Rendering Index of >80, are comparable to industry standards and are quite good. The type of light is bright cool white and is suitable for rooms in which you want to see everything sharply and clearly and in accurate colours. They are not the warm white type of light more suitable for relaxing in lounges. Because of their small spherical shape they fit into any enclosed type of wall and ceiling light fittings very well, and are even suitable for some chandeliers.The bulbs are silent with no flickering. They are claimed to last for 30,000 hours, which is about 15 years switching them on for 6 hours a day and all 365 days of the year. The claims are probably inflated, and you can expect less than that in practice. The manufacturing quality is good, with a semi-transparent thermal plastic spherical dome and a white plastic base. The bayonet cap is bright metal, probably an aluminium alloy, which should not rust or corrode over time. All parts fit firmly together and they look strong enough to last for years of use. Testing them, I found they performed very well, although in some situations a more powerful light, with more lumens output, may be required. I personally like the type of bright light they emit.

I do not know much about bulbs but they came nicely packed, preventing them from getting damaged during transit. These bulbs are a spherical shape and are quite small in size (I did expect them to be much bigger to be honest..) but are very bright when used. They are all in the cool white colour which I love as all of the lights in my home are in this colour.I also like that these are not twisty bulbs, making them fit in all of my bulb holders at home!I think these are okay at £9.99 at the time of review for 6 bulbs but at the same time, I think I would probably expect somewhat bigger bulbs.

I always find it difficult to review items such as this, because what more can you say about lightbulbs just doing what light bulbs do? They're bayonet fitting (so before buying make sure your sockets aren't a screw fit) and they are a little on the small size . But....they do what lightbulbs do!
