My cat loves his tree. It’s opened up a world for him. Plays in it daily. Loves to leap from it, scratch it and is currently laying below it too. Usually he likes the top. I love that it’s replacing an ugly carpeted one that was shredded and an eyesore. We placed this on a brick platform near a fireplace, in a corner for more height. We don’t use the fireplace ;) it brightens up the space and blends in with the rest of our plants.

All my cats, young and old, like using this tree. Hiding in it like they're hunting, scratching the surfaces, sitting on the astroturf bottom. My only complaint is that the branches are attached by sticking the plastic end of each one into grommets around the different platforms. That's nice because you can make it fuller or less dense depending on how they use it, but the branches do fall out more easily than is convenient.

It is pretty big, but my 10lb cat is too scared to go to the top as it gets a little jiggly and he hangs off of it up there. However it looks much better in the window and he does like hiding in the leaves.

I finally put the tree together and my cat LOVES IT!!!! He has been in it since I put it together a half hour ago. The tree is very sturdy, he has been jumping on it, scratching on it, swatting at the leaves and now he’s lying on the middle section. He knew right away that the middle (tree trunk) part was for scratching ( hopefully he will now leave my door frames alone) . He’s a fairly large cat and the tree can take whatever he does to it. The assembly was very easy. I hope everyone’s cat lives it as much as mine does.

So far it’s great. There were no instructions but not complicated… I was happy that it did not have the Amazon funk smell that most things do. I have MCAS so most Amazon purchases spend time airing out on the porch. Not necessary for this! The kitten LOVES it the leaves I fear may not last until morning :) no takers from the adults yet. Reasonably sturdy for the kitten and my chonky girl I sat on the top level. The leaves you add in are difficult to get in there.. and the kitten dislodged one immediately. Have taken them back off for the moment because kitten… the pre installed ones are well attached. Honestly it’s nicer than I expected. I wish they had a taller version.

But after a day, she embraced the wild side in her.After reading the reviews, I left off a section of leaves to make it easy for my cat to jump on. I put the non-leaf section towards the window so she can see out and she feels hidden from us . I spread the leaves to make the tree looks fullerShe loves to hide on the tree and watch ppl. Playing Hide, seek and stalking are 2 of her favorite games. She genuinely believes we cannot see her. We don’t let her know we can…lolThe scratching post is great for her as well. Other trees don’t have the sisal rope. That is one of the reasons I chose this one. The bottom is covered in “grass” which she loves laying on that as well. She uses every inch of this tree.It was extremely easy to put together. I just had hip surgery when I bought it, so it was a bit heavy for me.Otherwise, it was easy to put together.Great value. The media could not be loaded. There are a couple of knock-offs in here. Seriously, the extra cost for the scratching post trunk and platforms is worth every penny. I only wish there were more colors available.I only had one platform put together and the cat was already in it. Total win!Set up took 15 minutes? Super simple, and most the branches are set up so you just bend them into place, with 6 being removable. I kept two out to create a better path for my cat to figure out how to enter her post. It's very steady, and she loves getting into her lookout perch while I'm working.

Even in customer videos the tree wobbles terribly & the shelves can’t easily be accessed due to design. As a matter of fact, not a single video I’ve seen - including the seller - shows any cat climbing or jumping from one shelf to another. The seller’s video conveniently edits their own video regarding this. I don’t trust the gushing videos exclaiming how much their cats love this tree while the tree wobbled & cat appears uncomfortable. Probably placed on top.Note: I purchased this tree in error! Funny thing is the container shows a different shelf design than the actual shelf design. There are many trees so be sure you put the right one in your cart!I’ve purchased another tree from the same company I bought from a few years ago. The design & stability are definitely cat friendly & my cats love it to the point of wear & tear though it still has a few years left on it :)
