It works sometimes
The media could not be loaded. I received an OK condition Canon AE-1 for the price that I would have expected to pay for an Excellent condition Canon AE-1. A fair amount of minor marks from normal use but the mirror was terribly scratched and there was what looked like residue from the light seals on the focusing screen. The included battery ran out in three months (Canon’s quoted battery life is about a year) which leads me to believe that the included battery wasn’t completely new. Three weeks after the 90 day warranty ended, the depth of field preview button broke and it can no longer be depressed. It looks like most people have gotten their cameras in great condition though so don’t be too discouraged, just take this into consideration.Update: The winding mechanism has a loose clutch and which has lead to three rolls of mine to be blanks.
