Excellent, well made product
Purchased the gel pack to help relieve pain from an ankle injury picked up as a result of marathon training and football & have to say so far I’m really pleased. After being on my feet all day nice to have the choice for first ice to help take the swelling down then heat to help relieve the pain. The strap to help secure the pack is really useful. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something similar

Simple but effective
Easy to wear, appears to help a bit but not quite as cold as I expected and does not stay cold for more than about 20 mins.

A god-send for broken ankle recovery
This freezes well and is then flexible enough to wrap around the ankle as shown in the illustration. The wide band of elastic means it can really be wrapped, and pulled as tight as necessary. It proved to be extremely useful for me. It’s still in the freezer a year later, and gets used from time to time, especially in hot weather. The fabric is soft and comfortable.

Very good for applying cold to my ankle
I have this ankle you see. Its been diagnosed as a torn ligament and a lump the size of a walnut has sprung up on my ankle bone, God knows how it happened, it was just there one day and hurting like hell when i walked. (it was the peroneal brevis if that means anything to anyone other than a doctor).RICE I was told. Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevate. Rest wasnt a problem, thats practically all I do. Elevation? Feet up? Again I already do a lot of that. So Ice ice...? I know, a bag of frozen peas, or two bags to be on the safe side. Id heard about other people using this, I was well read, I knew things.... After about 4 days of tring to balance a bag of peas of the side of my foot by twisting it round and sitting in a weird position and the bag falling off and slipping around I thouhgt "I cant be the only person with this problem, Ill go on t'internet and see whats what. And this is what I found. If I could have invented something to apply ice to my ankle in that particular spot, this would have been it. Its perfect for the job whilst still retaining flexibility for other parts of the body.Sorry to say my problem has not gone away and Im off tomorrow for a cortisone injection. Lifes a bitch but its better with the help of littel things like this.

Works OK but uncomfortable
It works OK as a ice pack, but it is very rigid when taken from the freezer, so difficult to wrap around knee or heel and by the time it softens up it has also warmed up. Also the fabric case it goes into is flimsy and velcro strap very uncomfortable.
