Sound quality is great. The cushioning is tough on the ears after 30min or more of use for me. I wish I would have gone with over the ear instead of on the ear.UPDATE: 04/2016I been using these headphones on and off for the last year. I've REALLY tried to like them, but sadly I regret getting them. I've already mentioned that they start to feel uncomfortable and irritating after a few minutes of use. I wish Sennheiser would have used thicker padding or something for these on-ear's. The headphones sit tightly around your head, which is fine, but I think it adds to the discomfort after a short amount of time.To be fair, this is my first experience with on-ear headphones and I don't know if this is the general design. Finally, I can no longer overlook the cable design. The quality of the cable is great, I don't see them being damaged at all by any normal use. However, the microphone/volume button feels clunky and weird to use. I can't easily adjust the volume or push the talk button without feeling around and thinking "Is this the right button?". The way the buttons are placed, you can easily press two buttons at the time, and I usually do. That whole button/control designed is not intuitive. Also, the L-shape plug doesn't work as well now that I'm using a case that surrounds the boarder of my iPhone 5. While true, I can remove the case and not have this issue, but if it had a straight plug-in, this wouldn't have been a problem. If given the choice to use either my headphones or a case, I would choose the case and ditch the cans.If it wasn't for the experience I've had with the headphone cable, I would have considered getting the over-ear version.Pros:-Great sound quality-Build quality-Headphone design (Minus the ear cups)Cons:-Uncomfortable after a short amount of time-Microphone/Volume button is awkward to use.

seriously thinking about returning it
I'm definitely not an audiophile so I won't be going into too much detail about that aspect. I really wanted a departure from earbuds that destroy my eardrums whenever there is some high pitched or shrill music comes on. I also wanted the earphones to be comfortable and stylish that's not a Beats by Dre headphone. That being said, I'm glad I bought this for $80 on Friday because this is definitely not worth the original $200 price tag. These are the things that I looked for when picking out headphones.Sound: it's pretty balanced. I don't care all that much about bass and doesn't shatter my eardrums on cymbals or high pitched vocals.Style: looks decent. A little bigger than I expected but I like it.Comfort: started to hurt after 45 minutes. They are on-ear so I kind of expected this to happen. Here lies my biggest problem though-- If you expect to be moving around like bending down to pick up something from the ground, they will slip off your head. I was doing the laundry earlier and every single time I bent down to pick up some clothing, it would slip right off my head. There really isn't a way to stop this. These headphones are for sitting, kind of laying down, and walking, not moving around. Beware of this. The cable that came with it is flat and doesn't tangle which is nice. The thing is I bought the version with the iOS cable thinking that it wouldn't make that much of a difference. I was wrong. The +/- buttons on the microphone do not do anything when used with my HTC One M8. The call button, however, stops the music as it's supposed to.I'll spend another week on it and see if I can put up with it or if I'll return it.

Overall good headphones BUT too TIGHT. Hurt my head/ears (I wear glasses)!
I enjoyed the headphones, but had to return them because they hurt.Pros:1) I am not an audiophile, but for my purposes, the sound quality of the headphones was relatively good. E.g. I could discern more instruments during a song than with generic headphones.2) The sound isolation on the headphones was adequate. These headphones would be nice for studying in a library.3) There was little to no sound leakage. Again, these headphones would be nice for studying in a library.4) The headphones look stylish, in my opinion, which was a factor for me when purchasing headphones.5) Also, the build of the headphone felt sturdy.Cons:1) These headphones HURT after wearing them for more than 15 minutes. I felt a lot of pressure on my head, and my ears especially feel sore. I am not certain if this is due to the size of my head (slightly above average?) or the fact that I wear glasses. It is possible that the headphones pressed my ears onto the arms of my glasses, causing pain after extended wear time. I tried stretching out the headphones, but it did not help.2) Only comes with one proprietary cable so if it tears or snags, it will be difficult to replace.3) Comes with a cloth bag carrying case that doesn't offer any real protection. The On-Ear Sennheiser Momentum which is priced similarly or less comes with 2 cables and 2 cases if I'm not mistaken.

The pads on these are just no good. Started to disintegrate after less than a year.

These pinch!
Sound quality is excellent. Fit on my head and over my ears is excellent. I would have given 5 stars except for one small problem. In the few days I've had and used these headphones I have pinched myself 3 times at the fold point when unfolding them. The folding feature is awesome, makes these headphones very portable, but the fold point is sharp and hurts when you accidentally catch your fingers in the joint. In addition the fold points are located right where both of your hands would be placed when unfolding the ear parts making it very easy to get pinched.

Decent quality for the price but earmuffs are not durable
Nice headphones with velvety earmuffs. Great quality of sound and decent sound proofing. Work great for my office use!Update (05.10.2021). Earmuffs begun disintegrating - see picture - three months ago, the ring that holds earmuff in place completely ripped off and the other one is holding on a thread.. Unfortunately I ceasing successful to find replacement to the earmuffs as of yet, but I’ll continue the search. Quality of the sound is great but earmuffs is a big con!

Managed to get these at £70 which was an absolutely great deal. Had an audiophile friend confirm that the sound quality is up there with £100+ headphones. The sound is quite bassy, not in a bad way like cheap headphones though. A bit like beats headphones I guess, but far better value for money because you aren't paying a premium for the fashion brand

Better than Beats Headphones
Was lucky enough to get these at £40 the other week, they've been in my basket for a few months and pondered if to fork out the £70 they were set at down from £150.Have to say I've used them a fair bit and they are a bargain for the price I got them at, and even if you paid £60-70 I still think they are good. A dam sight better than Beats headphones where you're basically paying for the brand.

Five Stars
Well I’m changing my review since the headphones starting to work not as expected. Sound still good but when I use it to talk on the phone, there’s a lot interference if the phone is on my pocket. Need to hold it on my hand and grab the cable so he doesn’t move. Even with that, the connection still bad. Starting to get disappointed with that since I like this item...

the sound quality is excellent, the bass is powerful and clear
I've been using this headphones for 3 days now, the sound quality is excellent, the bass is powerful and clear , the build material is very good. I've seen many people having problems with the cable, I guess we will live and see 😁
