Ashbourne Grey Hopsack Fabric Bedstead (5ft Kingsize)

Bought this bed for my 4 year old to match his older brothers bed. This is not the grey bed, this is dark grey. Lovely bed but description of colour could have been better. I have the grey single (ds) already & dark grey double (dd), so purchased this thinking it would match ds bed this is definitely dark grey ( more of a charcoal) as it is same colour as DD double.

I've never put a bed together alone, but this was quite easy. My package had one washer missing, but it doesn't seem to have made a difference. It took me about an hour to make, but I was taking breaks! Really pleased.

Very easy to assemble, I did it on my own in about two hours and I am a small lady with no prior flat pack experience. It looks lovely once assembled, appearing a lot more expensive than it was. The only thing I will say that the small bed legs hold quite a lot of weight which means they can get quite weak. One of ours caved in after a few months and was difficult to fix so perhaps reinforce these whilst assembling if you can. Other than that, very impressed for the price

There are a few badly placed staples here and there and the nuts and bolts in the instruction manual don't marry up with what you get but its do-able.Looks really nice built and seems sturdy enough. A couple of the spring lats were a little split but spaced out it didn't matter.Like I said it's great for the price but if I'd paid more than £180 I'd be disappointed.

Very happy with this item. It was delivered promptly and the instructions were easy to follow. I assembled it on my own, which is totally possible, it just takes a while (probably 1.5 hours+ if you're being careful). No tools required, comes with allen keys and mini spanner. Seems sturdy, nice design, looks like a premium product. Only thing to mention is if you tighten up the legs as far as they'll go, they won't be at the perfect angle, so round legs might have been a better idea.

did quite a bit of research before buying this product with various other lower budget brands.I was thrilled to find the bed arrived 24 hours after I ordered it free delivery.I was able to construct the bed on my own in an hour.it is sturdy and looks good.can't think of anything negative, super pleased with my purchase.

A great buy and looks more expensive than it is. The slats weren't easy to put in but neither my son and I are DIY whizzes!Would definately recommend and my daughter is thrilled with her new bed!
