It wasn't as heavy as I expected, it's almost like tissue paper, very thin. Perfect for covering electronics, it has a nice color to it. The one I purchased, was not sewn or tapered? Around the edges, what I did is I immediately put duct tape along the two edges that looked like they would begin to unravel. It looks like it was cut from a roll. Overall, I'm happy with it. I want to try something that'd be more suitable for lying or sitting in when I sleep. I have used it to cover myself when sleeping, but it has delicate feel, but nice since it is so light, and warm but not really breathable which makes sense for it purpose, comparable to polyester. Lastly, I used it to cover my radio, and it did interfere with its reception, so that was reassuring that it is functioning in some way.

Didn't know how to use the fabric when I purchased it. Didn't even know that it worked. But after much research, I learned how to use the fabric properly and I must say, it works. I wrap my phone and other devices with the fabric and it blocks all signals. Will be ordering more.

As described, emf, radiation, rfid and so on, the fabric could protect us from all these. Also wrap the phone with it, the phone lost its signal. Does its job well.

I had fun wrapping my phone up in this fabric and having a friend call it. No ring. She keep the line on and I pulled my phone out of the fabric. As soon as it was free from the fabric the call went through to my phone. I love this stuff. Making a wallet and I really wanted the RFID capabilities and definitely got it with this fabric. Had another friend around when we did this experiment, she now wants a custom wallet with this fabric. Well worth the money.

Not sure if the other commenters below me who claim that this doesn't work are using the right tools to measure the EMF output, but I can genuinely confirm that I do have an EMF reader and in addition, that the material does prevent some radiation from leaking out by way of absorption. Of course, it's not going to lower the readings to a flat 0, nor be as effective as brass or copper sheet metal, but it still does it's job in reducing the leaked out EMF radiation. That's all that matter...at least to me that is!
