Works well for paint and going to try for straining honey
I ordered these strainer bags for trying to save some older latex paint I have that has some rust flakes from the old lids and dried edges and stuff on it. They fit well in a standard five-gallon bucket and held up well to use. I decided it was well worth the money (about $1.30 a bag) to throw them away after each use instead of trying to clean and reuse them as the paint was goopy and there was a lot of junk left in the bags. They seem to be well made, with firm stitching and elastic that held up through the whole process. There was plenty room within the bucket (the strainers went all the way to the bottom with room to spare) and they were easy to install and then remove, squeeze and toss.I am intrigued by the comments about straining honey - right now I just use a metal mesh double strainer, but it sounds like these may be a good addition to that process.

Fits 5 gallon bucket perfectly
While this is working as paint strainer, I also used it soak grass seeds before overseeding to my lawn. Pre-soaking the seeds help it to pass the first germinating stage, and this strainer completely nailed the job! All I need to do is changing water in these 7 days and I just take the bag out from the bucket and change out water! Works very well

Useful for gardening as well as painting
I'll be using one of these soon when I touch up my front and side doors with leftover paint that is partly skinned over and has rust flakes around the rim. The elastic top should make the job easier, and the fabric looks very sturdy. I'm using most of these strainer bags in my large outdoor plant pots. Rabbits have been feasting on many of my garden plants so I'm transplanting them to large (26"-30" tall) pots. To keep the pots from using too much soil and getting too heavy, I'll put leftover packing styrofoam (which can't be recycled around here) in the bottom of each pot. Before I put the styrofoam in the bottom of the pots, it will go into these mesh bags to keep the styrofoam from infiltrating the soil. I'm sure there are tons of other "crafty" uses for these bags!

Very nice product for the price.
This paint strainer is exactly as advertised. They fit perfectly on a 5 gallon bucket and the elastic holds it in place. Well made and can be used multiple times with washing.

Good for honey buckets!
I was in need of a basic strainer to remove bits of wax and debris from my harvested honey. I did not want something super fine like cheesecloth because you want some of the good stuff like pollen to make its way through. These filter bags worked perfectly. They fit right around a five gallon bucket with no problem. The opening is super stretchy but tight fitting enough I did not need to worry about it falling off. When I was done, I rinsed it out in the sink and threw it in the wash with my load of towels and the filter bag washed up as good as new. Since these can be re-used I will get a ton of use out of this bag of strainers. If you were using them for paint, they could easily just be tossed in the trash. For straining out honey from the spinner, these are a five star find!

Reasonably priced paint strainer. Just as you would expect.
This is just a simple paint strainer available at a fair price. I've tried a few already and haven't had any problems. It worked well when dealing with paint that had been sitting around for about a year, filtering out all the dried bits that might have otherwise ended up in my paint tray.
