First of all I have to say that this is the cheapest price I have seen for such a large pack of toilet rolls. I usually get them in packs of 9 or sometimes 16 when they are on offer at my local supermarket. Even when they are on offer they are usually around £5 to £6 and these have worked out a lot cheaper. I really like using the Velvet toilet rolls, the quilted velvet is probably my favourite but these plain velvet variety are nice to use. You get 10 packs each with four toilet rolls in, and they arrived in a very large cardboard box which was a perfect fit. The toilet rolls are also kept together with one large sheet of cellophane wrapping. It's very easy to get open. The packs of 4 are also easy to get open and I find that poking my finger through one of the toilet roll holders is usually enough to get me into one of the packets. The Velvet toilet tissue is such good quality, that I have not used anything different for many years now. It's fairly thick and it's soft too which is what you are looking for really when you're buying a toilet roll. You can usually open a new roll very easily by pulling up the little flap that is stuck down. I've never had any problems with the perforations between each sheet either unlike with another very famous toilet roll brand that I have tried before. I'm really happy with my toilet rolls and they are a great bargain.

I bought this product when it was £12.50 which made it a very good deal, but be aware the prices change frequently and can vary but quite a bit so make sure you're still getting a good deal before you buy it!I like that it comes in 10 packs of 4 rolls, because it means they all stay fresh and you can't accidentally spill them!It does take up quite a bit of space, when I ordered them I didn't quite realise how big it was going to be! Luckily I have space to store them so it's not an issue for me but if you're short on storage space you need to make sure you can fit them all in!The toilet roll itself is fine, same as any you'd buy in the shops. Good quality and same size rolls.Overall I'm very impressed and I will definitely be buying toilet roll in bulk from now on! So much easier than having to go shops regularly for it.

Good value at £12.50 at the time I purchased, but had gone up to £15 when I was writing this review. As with all of these bulk offers you do need to watch the sheet count as they can vary a lot (Andrex can go from 240 - 210 depending on where it's being sold)- it's 200 per roll on these which is OK.Good quality toilet roll. 40 rolls takes up a lot of space, so bear that in mind. As above check the price when you order - at £12.50 it's a very good deal but that might not be the case when you are reading this.

*****Update: The 45 roll option is the cheap and rough 2 ply toilet paper, not the 3 ply soft and strong version we are all used to. Be warned as its really hard, rough and tears easily.******These go as low as £12.50 for 40 rolls and as high as £25! Just go to your supermarket if they aren't £12.50.Usual thick, but soft velvet quality, newer design with embroidered effect logo on the sheets.These come packed in a big amazon box, so they all arrive safely.Great price at £12.50 (31 pence per roll) and cheaper than some of the best deals I've seen in our supermarket. However the current £15 for 40 makes it 37 per roll and no better than if I by them from tesco at the standard price and I dont have to store 10 packs of 4 rolls somewhere in the house for no saving.So pick the time you buy these.

A Very effortless way to stock up on a Daily essential without the need to spend loads of cash! Each 4 rolls come individually packaged therefore stay dust-free and protected until ready to use. Quality wise it is a very good value for money and also quality tissue as it doesnt “melt” or tear when used for any purpose and you dont need too much. Long rolls so should last. PERFECT FOR UNI STUDENTS as you will never run low ! Lasted me the whole uni year - with loads of mop ups- clean ups and uni mistakes wiped away with it !!! HIGHLY RECCOMENDED

Fantastic stuff. Ordered it as the Andrex had gone back up in price but although there is less in a pack the value is very good. It has a nice thickness, so no danger of accidentally getting a finger dip in the sticky fudge pot. Softness wise my ring piece gives it a solid 9 out of 10. Even after a day on the beer followed by an Indian it still held up well and didn't require refrigeration to tease the sting from my balloon knot. Will buy again if the price is right

I have always used velvet ,its well known and trusted brand. Their toilet rolls are lovely and soft and great value for the price.I was disappointed with this order as the toilet rolls were much smaller and only 2ply. On the description on amazon it does state they are full size toilet rolls and 3ply.

Bulk-buying toilet roll is THE best thing there is in life. In my house of five females with a food-fetish fever, we get through loo roll like The Death Star destroyed Alderaan. Being an Amazon Prime member, the delivery was fabulously fast, as always. These 40 bundles of soft, sensual, silky bog roll satisfied our derriere's day after day. This product did not let me down. I would thoroughly recommend to any human with a passion for keeping tushies of all trim on top-notch form. I give this item five stars, but it only deserves more credit. Thank you Velvet. Also on another note, why is this product called Velvet? Like imagine actually wiping your arse with velvet. If you held the material the wrong way it would provide a very uncomfortable experience, but then I suppose if you knew your fabrics you would have the knack of it. Maybe it was fabric connoisseurs who designed this almighty masterpiece in the first place.
