Warning- The Digital Thermostat is in Celcius Not Fahrenheit Like Used in America
This flat iron came on time. When I turned it on I thought it was broken. It only heats up to 230 degrees. I bought it because it is supposed to heat up to 450 degrees. Realized the thermostat is in CELSIUS not Fahrenheit. The back of the box says 90-230 C (190-450 F). The flat iron was made in China, so maybe that is why the digital display/thermostat is not in Fahrenheit (American temperature scale). When you turn it on it starts at 90 Celsius degrees which is 190 Fahrenheit degrees(American) Giving the temperature conversions for you. You can always do a Google Search for a specific temperature. Ladies, when you buy Amazon hot tools for your hair, flat iron, blow dryer or anything that gets hot, pay attention to the temperature scale. Features and iron work as advertised.
Works as advertised, although my wife says the temperature seems to be lower than indicated. It does a good job of removing her frizz, and softening her hair. Her hair also has more sheen, and less breakage. It is also very durable; still looks like it is new from the package.Overall this is the best performing hair iron that she has had in the previous 13yrs.
