Holy MOLY, This Dress Turned Out Fitting Great!
Holy MOLY, this dress turned out fitting great! I'm 5' 1 1/2" tall, 113 lbs, and purchased the Small. With the bit of stretch, it fits my waist and bust perfectly with a bit of "sexy" cling. It hits me at the knee. Which is higher than true '50's, but more flattering. I took the advice of another reviewer and purchased a white crinoline-type petticoat to make the skirt fuller. The skirt isn't as flared as pictured, but the petticoat makes it look authentically '50's.

Awesome dress!
I was so happy with this dress!!! Came right on time as expected. I went by my measurements for the size. I am 5'7 and 130lbs--went with a large to fit my bust and waist--When I tried the dress on the shoulder/bust area was maybe an inch if not less loose--I threw the dress in the wash and it shrunk to perfect size! Prior to washing, it went to just below my knee and a tad loose in the bust--after washing it fell just above my knee and fit perfect in the bust! I was very happy. Not much give/stretch in the material so definitely order size as appropriate to size chart. Great price and beautiful dress--might be purchasing another in a different color as well!

Lovely rockabilly formal dress
I am 5'8", 190 lbs, usually size 14. I ordered XXL. It was probably the right size choice since I think XL would be too tight. Ideally, I'd need something that's just between the two for the perfect fit. Still, it is very lovely. I highly recommend buying an petticoat to pouf out the skirt (which I wish were just a little more full on its own). It really does make a difference. I have a 1960 themed formal occasion in a month that this dress will be perfect for, so I'm very excited to wear it. The fabric is thick, but not too heavy, and I appreciate that it's woven, not knit.

Perfect for swing party!
I ordered the hot pink with polka dots in a medium, which is my normal size. I'm very busty (34f) so was worried it wouldn't zip, but the little bit of stretch makes a perfect fit! If you're busty with a small rib cage/waist, don't be afraid to order your size. I'm 5'6" and found the length (mid knee) to be just the ticket. Very flattering, and I can wear it with any of my regular bras. I got it for a swing dance party.I'll wash it and give it some ironing and if it holds up, will change rating to 5 stars. Also, I bought a petticoat for it. But honestly I've got curvy hips and think the effect will make me too wide. We'll see. It already flares out enough, I find.

Affordable and attention-grabbing
This dress is very, very cute. The fabric feels like a cross between a strong cotton and polyester, and the cut seems to be designed more for curvy women. This isn’t saying it wouldn’t be attractive on straight-figured or slender women, because it definitely would - you just may need to see a tailor.Considering this was an Eastern company, I consulted the size chart and went up one size just to be safe. I should have stuck with my normal size - the upper portion was a little too roomy. I didn’t have time to exchange it before I planned to wear it, but l, the cut of the chest area made it easy to fill out with a cleavage-enhancing bra (you don’t get so lucky on other tops). This dress is well-made and affordable, so I will have no qualms taking it to a tailor.I did wear a petticoat with it, but the dress looks fabulous with or without a petticoat. My only beef with this dress was zipper placement - it’s under one of the armpits and only opens the waist a few inches. You have to slide it on and off like a t-shirt.....which is unfortunate if you wear it all night at a drunken summer wedding reception and you’re sweating like you just ate too much beef jerky.Otherwise, it’s a scene-stealer dress and you’ll definitely get lots of attention.

Cheap, cheap, cheap
So pretty in the picture and so horrible in reality. First of all, I'm a 32CCC and the top of this was oddly big. Secondly, the black and white panels aren't inset, they are just randomly sewn into the dress, meaning, they don't "hide" behind the pink, it just looks like weird stripes in the fabric. Didn't even consider keeping this as it looked so cheap on. I'm not even sure it could be ironed to look like the picture (B/W insets). Disappointing product for $30. I've bought solid or all printed dresses in this "vintage" type style before in a similar pricepoint and loved them. This one, unfortunately, just didn't cut it.

Looks and fits great! Fabric could be nicer, but excellent for the price!
I was wary that it wouldn't fit right or would be too cheap but it's actually really nice. It fits me perfectly, though I am quite large in the bust area so the pin-up styles usually look good on me. I'm a 34 DD and the large fit me great. Big enough so that I didn't have to squeeze myself into it but not too big that it looked bad. The length was also good and stopped around the knees. I got several compliments just on the first day I wore it. It can be dressed up with some jewelry or dressed down with a cardigan for a more everyday style. The only con I would say is that the fabric is just a tiny but scratchy or starchy and a little stiff, but since washing it has already softened up and is more comfortable. For the sale price that I bought it at ($18) it was definite a steal and I will consider buying more in the future.
