TYRAdult Wrinkle Free Silicone Swim Cap for Drag Reduction and Hair Protection

I have been using it and so far it is great. But it is so tight on my head. It has just dawned on me that I have a big head!

After years of wearing Speedo, I got mad when my cap ripped after a few months. Tried several other brands. This is as heavy as the Speedo and slightly smaller. For my female head with short hair, that is good! It still slides up and has to be adjusted every so often, but I am hoping it lasts.

I am new to swimming, so I went with the long con of buying cheap, while seeing if I can stick to an activity before investing in something pricier. This does the job for someone who's just a casual, fun swimmer, but as I got into it, I noticed that at some point it was not covering as much nor clinging as well to my head. Two months (or less, can't recall) in and it snapped. No contact with anything sharp, no snags, no obvious damage prior to using that day, just trying to put it on as usual, and SNAP, it tore on the side and lost all integrity. I ended up swimming without a cap because I was not going as often anyways, but it definitely did not last as long as I had hoped. For the price, and depending on how intense of a swimmer you are, it does the job, but if you know you are going to be a prolific swimmer or would rather invest in something more longterm, this is may not be it. I am debating about purchasing it again because I am resuming swimming soon and again may not be able to continue for long, if that one is better or not, I will be sure to review.

I'm in the pool 4.5-6.0 hrs/wk. Happy to find a heavy gauge silicone cap that will last. I now use TYR prescription goggles and caps. Will switch to TYR for suits when they roll out an endurance fabric.

I use this for sun protection, not to keep water out. I have a normal sized head, and the cap fits really tight. It does keep water out, but I don’t care about that.

I wear the cap when taking water exercises so I don't submerge my head or swim in it so I can not attest to it being waterproof or sliding off. My problem is that it is SO DARNED TIGHT!I am 5 feet 1.5 inches tall, weigh around 93 lbs., have short hair, and don't think I have a big head. This cap is so tight that my dark-skinned ears hurt and turn red and I have a slight headache for a few days after wearing it.I would not purchase it again.

Needed a solid white cap for my daughter to wear under her latex white school provided one. Needed a cap to use as a base layer so the latex wasn't touching her. This cap did the job and will last for years to come

I won't buy this again. Tore at the back the first time I put it on.

Muy buen material y diseño, me agradó mucho, ahora sólo espero sea durable.

Wow mon premier swim cap tyr pis sérieux je suis pas dessus . On voie qu il est fait solide une belle qualité de silicone serre très bien la tête se que j adore perso. Reste juste a l essayer a ma prochaine session de natation 😁
