I liked the size, the rich color, ease of assembly. Price was really a great deal considering what others go for. This is a limited frills umbrella, but prefect for this that don't need extras. It is well made, good quality. The strap that holds it from turning in the wind when open is the only cheap part I saw.It operates smoothly and effortlessly, and looks fantastic. We had purchased a long table, 6 to 8 people size, and it is big enough to cover that. Well worth the price.

I bought this umbrella so our daughter could play with her water table without us worrying about too much sun and it was perfect. We loved this for it's functionality but it looks sleek as well. However, we bought it on June 9th and by August 14th it was broken. The cord that allows it's movement must have been rubbing hard enough inside the pole that eventually friction caused it to snap. I feel like for this price point, the umbrella should have lasted a few years. As much as I loved this, I can't recommend a product that only lasted two months.

So even through some extreme windy days, this umbrella has stood up to some harsh tests. Very easy to put together and very sturdy. The fabric is thick and provides ample shade.

I wouldn't compare this umbrella to some 300 dollar costco umbrella with lights, and a cover, all made out of steel, that's because this is a steal. We weren't looking for something crazy, just functional, and not all plastic. This delivered, some plastic, and i'm gentle with this, so I will say that. However, if you don't man handle this, and buy a 8$ cover like I did, why not.This DOES NOT come with a weighted base, I bought one for less than 10$ that fills with water, super cheap, and works great. If you moved it around all the time maybe it would be more annoying, but for some semi weekly use, I think this is great. Well worth the price.
