The box is nice enough for gifting, and has a cutout window in the front showing you the different colors of the pen bodies. They are all in different pastel colors . (Beige gray, pink, light blue, a greenish gray, and a lavender) According to the back of the box, these are all a .5 mm point with black ink, and the colors on the body of the pen are a vintage style made from an ABS plastic material.Looking at the individual pen itself, the body is smooth with a slightly soft rubbery feeling touch to it. The main barrel is a bit larger in diameter than many gel pens, but is not over large, and makes for a good grip, The pocket clip is made of a harder plastic and has a metallic ball made into the end to get it to grip onto your pocket. The top of the pen where the click arrangement is is a plastic covered metal barrel with a color coordinated hard plastic button. The body of the pen contains a replaceable ink cartridge, but I feel that by the time you're ready to replace the ink cartridge, the rest of the pen will be most likely worn out. The low pricing of the set makes a loss of a pen painless to the wallet. On the pen, the writing tip has a rubbery waxy cover over the ball area that you'll have to remove before first use, but it keeps the tip from drying out in storage. The ball on the pen flows smoothly with a fine point appearance to the pen width of the pen's track. It flows well and doesn't scratch on the paper.The bottom line on this pen set? It'd be a good set to have for office or school work and the colors are all pretty.

This is my review of the Fenmay Gel Pens, 6 Pcs Smooth Writing Pens.What I like about it...Very smooth writing gel pens that do not smear, hate when other gel pens do thatWhat I didn't like about it...What's there not to like about a set of smooth writing gel pen?Conclusion...The set of six pens are all black ink, the exterior housing of the pen are pastel colors so if anyone takes them, you know it belongs to you. The price point of $5 is great, no caps to lose as the pens are click clicks.

These are smooth writing pens in pleasing light pastel colors. Please note that there is a red wax covering at the pen tip that needs to be removed. I've used other gel pens before that didn't have such a covering. Because of this I probably won't be putting these pens in my shirt pocket in case they leak. But otherwise, these pens are a good value and work well.

These are so cute. My girls love them! They like the colors, style and how well they write. Each pen has its own cute color. The pen writes smoothly and does not skip. My kids enjoy using them and they don’t feel any pain from the pen after long use. Overall, this is a cute set. Each pen can be given as a gift along with sketch books or crossword puzzles for kids. The pens feel sturdy and after being dropped on hardwood floors a few times are still holding up.

These are good pens and write smoothly. There is a little piece of sealant on the tip so you need to remove before using (fingernail or just wipe with finger and it comes off easily). It is a very fine point and writing is almost a little faint but still readable. The pen is round and feels good in the hand, doesn't slip easily.It is a gel pen but I didn't notice any smudging when using. Between the fast drying and fine point, doesn't seem like the ink would smudge.The pastel colors are very light, not a good or bad thing but just to note.

Maybe I don't understand the concept of "gel pen?" I appreciate that gel 'ink' is different than what you get in a standard ballpoint pen, but from a visual perspective, I really don't see a difference between the two.How long will these last? Time will tell but, at this price, what have you got to lose? Four stars.
