Q: Do the tops fit without sliding off?

The tops fit well. There is a rubber gasket/seal around the edge of the cover, which grips the lip of the pan very well. You can tip the pan almost 45° without the cover sliding off. But of course be careful when doing this! I bought this set for RV camper use. Nice set with detachable handles for easy storage.

Q: Will this set work with an induction plate that requires magnetic bottom on cookware ?

Yes, you can safely use this set on your induction plate without any issues.

Q: Can you leave handle on while cooking on stove top?

Yes they fit tightly for cooking use and snap off for storage.

Q: can these be used in the microwave?

Yes, It's microwave-safe, but remove the lid and handle before heating.
