Great gift for birthdays
Easy to set up and use. Lightweight and lots of fun. The controls are simple and reactive. Great for use on open water (make sure it’s full of charge first though) ideal for gifting for special occasions. Great value for money. Would buy again

I wanted to give 5 stars
I really wanted to give this 5 stars as it is great and my eldest absolutely loves it. Its a nice size and so run on a river or lake. It does at time tend to go alittle wild and off track doing what it wants which is why i couldnt give it 5 stars. Its fab for £16 and as you get use to it it gets easier to use.

A total success!
This has been a MASSIVE hit in my house! It's really very good fun at bath time, and I have to say it's impressive. The water jet isn't too powerful, the LED light looks superb in a foamy bath, and it really can shift through the water! No problems with reliability or battery life after a month of regular use. Really super value!

So much fun
We had so much fun with this over the summer months. this little submarine is brilliant. part of it is rechargeable however I found the other half of it you were better off just put in regular batteries in it. this little submarine it was easy to drive and it also shooted water. so much fun would highly recommend

Control a bit hit and miss
We tested this out in our swimming pool and my boy had fun with it especially the water pistol function which shoots out water quite some distance and is a cool feature of this floating sub style remote control boat. It's designed as a yellow submarine but make no mistake this does NOT dive under water.Controlling it was easy enough but we often found that a little bit of movement on the water surface such as waves caused by wind etc can make it a lot harder and frustrating to control. It really needed more powerful propellors for it to overcome this.None the less it's still fun.Featuring 2 rechargeable batteries this means you won't need to hunt down replacement batteries and can simply pop them on charge for an hour or 2 which then gives plenty of playtime. It also features cool looking lights and we found that the whole thing was waterproof as my boy submerged it under water several times without it affecting it.You'll need a couple of AA batteries for the remote which automatically pairs with the boat when the boat is placed in water. My other half first thought the boat wasn't working because it doesn't turn on unless it's in water. It must have a water sensor that automatically turns it on. There isn't a ON/OFF switch. It feels well made and robust and the battery compartment seems to be watertight when you attach the battery with a couple of screws and turn screw.Currently priced at just under £21 at time of review is pretty reasonable in my opinion and I'd pay this.Although it says fun for pools and lakes etc I wouldn't let my son play with this on a lake unless I could have any realistic chance of retrieving it if the remote control goes out of range, or the battery dies or if the boat is affected by wind and waves which make it drift away!I don't think it has any warning indication that the battery is about to die tbh and not entirely sure on the range. And then of course we have the fact that it just isn't powerful enough to overcome waves etc. It's a fun little toy for the pool imo and my little boy loves playing with it.

Great.
Although this remote controlled toy looks like it goes underwater it doesnt its a boat. Instructions included that are easy to foolow, instruct you how to pair the remote with the craft. It uses 2 xAA batteries which are not included. A great price for a great little toy. With the added effects of lights and a squirt function. The removing of the batteries with the little screwdriver can be a bit of a pain. Its not really powerful enough as wind can cause steering and control issues. Still all great fun!

Good fun, boat looking like a submarine
This Emooncn remote controlled boat looks more like a submarine, but stays on top of the water so you can see it. The instructions sheet informs you how to pair the remote and the sub and how to operate the remote. You need 2 x AA batteries for the remote (not supplied) and a small cross head screwdriver. The boat has a battery installed, plus a spare and I would recommend charging both up before taking to the water so you can have more fun. The boat whizzed around and amused everyone walking around the pond. We didn't send it too far out, just in case it had to be rescued, and possibly changed batteries before having to - couldn't risk it on its maiden voyage! The squirt function and lights add an extra level of fun, as does the fact it is hard to go in a straight line. If I had to change anything it would be the small screws on the battery box; bit too small and fiddly to be dealing with when outside. Nicely presented in a box so ideal for gifting, and priced at £20.99 at the time of this review
