Bought these Egyptian-themed plastic figures to use as birthday cake decorations (7-Inch Celebration Cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory) and they worked perfectly. Just don't stand them on the cake near any candles! I pressed the standing figures into the frosting around the outside of the cake and used the short/flat figures on the top. Perfect!

My daughter is currently in her ancient Egypt phase thanks to Rick Riordan's Kane Chronicles, and we've been doing some Egypt-based projects based on ancient Egyptian mythology which is a central feature in the Kane Chronicles. This Egypt Toob was a pleasant surprise due to the above average quality of the figurines. They are definitely not recommended for children under 5 as some of them are small and can pose a choking hazard, but older children (6-11) will have fun with these. The plastic tube has a globe at the top which also serves as a way to lock the tube (to prevent the figurines from falling out). The toob comes with a string that makes it convenient to be carried along.The figurines comprise: Queen Nefertiti, Cat Goddess Bastet, King Tutankhamun, Goddess Isis, an amulet, a sarcophagus, scarab, a miniature pyramid, the Sphinx, Thoth, Anubis, and a hieroglyph. The quality is really quite good considering the price. My daughter is using them as display materials alongside her collection of Egyptian mythology books and of course, The Kane Chronicles. Any child who loves learning about ancient Eqypt will love this.

I bought this set as I was building a model kit of the classic Boris Karloff version of The Mummy, and wanted a few knick-knacks to dress up the base. These small Egyptian-themed figures and statues fit the bill, the tallest ones standing about 2 1/2 inches tall. They are molded in soft tan plastic, painted in black, pale yellow, orange and various shades of blue. You get the Sphinx, the pyramids, busts of King Tut and Nefertiti, a cat, falcon, figures of Anibus, Horus, and various others, 12 in all.Because of the small size, I probably would not recommend them for small children due to the possible choking hazard, but beyond that, a nice set that would make a great educational toy, or useful for all manner of hobbies.

I guess they were as advertised but the pyramids came connected as a larger pyramid with 2 smaller pyramids attached and they must have measured the length of the bases of the 2 pyramids, which is 2.5", but the height of the larger pyramid was only 1" and the smaller pyramid .5". So that was really disappointing. I was expecting it to be 2 to 3 inches TALL. Other figures were fine.

Cute for Ancient Egypt studies, but we would have liked to have all the Egyptian gods and goddesses in one, and perhaps a second Toob with things like the Pyramids, the Sphinx, etc. This is mostly because the differences in scale make these a little bit weird. Still, like most Safari Ltd products, the figures are accurate, well painted, and attractive. The color and size is mostly appropriate (given the differences in scale mentioned above). The identification on each figure continues to be one of the most appreciated features of Safari Ltd products.Recommended for anyone studying Ancient Egypt, and for anyone who enjoys playing with little figurines like these.

They're the perfect size for whatever project my dad is working on! Very pleased with the time they arrived.
