I decided to purchase the Berkey BB9 replacement filters from a third-party seller because the price was much more affordable than the original ones. To my surprise, these filters exceeded my expectations. They deliver the same great performance as the original filters, effectively removing impurities and providing clean, great-tasting water. What impressed me even more was the seller’s outstanding service. They not only provided detailed information about the product materials but also included the NSF certification and explained how to verify it, which made me feel confident about the quality. Takes 24 hrs to filter 2 gallons, that's great, except we use more than that. They do a good job, just so slow it's Almost unusable

Although the price of these filters are significantly less than the original Berkey’s or the current Bourox filters that replaced Berkey’s. They are a cheap imitation the original filters took much longer to filter the water these filters start dripping before you eve have the upper chamber filled I also have noticed that they don’t completely filter all of the upper chambers water there is always an inch or two of water left in the upper chamber. Based on this I am not sure you are getting a thorough filtering of your tap water. Will not purchase these again will bite the bullet and pay 140.00 for the Bourox filters.

The most important thing to me was that the filters are certified by NSF which is National Sanitation Foundation which is a third party testing. Not many filters offer this because it costs them but this tells me that it definitely works at filtering water. Very simple to install. Tastes fine I honestly didn't notice a difference. Does feel crisper if that makes sense. Smells the same. Well, it doesn't smell like chlorinated tap water so it doesn't smell like anything. I will say I had to filter the water about 8 times before I used it. I used TDS meters to tell me when they were clear.Overall I'm very happy with these filters and will most likely purchase them at my next filter change.

These replacement filters are designed for gravity water filtration systems and are sealed in plastic until ready for use.They are designed to filter 6000 gallons of water at 0.01 µm filtration precision.They do have the wingnut and washers necessary to install them that are protected under that white cardboard cap that you see in the photo.Also included, are excellent instructions for this newly upgraded filtration design that has the silver ion loaded activated carbon outside with an internal filtration membrane on the inside for an enhanced water filtration design.These too are NSF/ANSI 42 Certified ensuring safe fresh drinking water quality.
