Excellent dash cam, easy to use and great customer service
I am currently using 2 of these rear view mirrors. The design is elegant and doesn't appear out of place in any car. Great mirror and video quality as well. Original purchased for our Mini Cooper S and Acura MDX, and its 12” screen size greatly improved rear view visibility over the stock mirror. The backup cameras were easy to install and for the Cooper, it gave it new backup camera functionality that the car didn't come with. Now that I have sold both of these cars, and since it has worked reliability, I have moved both to my Mercedes GLE SUV and Mercedes EQS sedan instead of shopping for something different. They look good and not out of place in any car. Customer service for this company is also excellent and they response to my requests very quickly with solutions to address my needs.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Product and Outstanding Customer Support
I purchased the Pelsee P12 Plus dash camera, and my overall experience has been excellent. From day one, the device has impressed me with its solid build quality, high-resolution mirror display, and clear video recording in both daytime and nighttime conditions. Installation was straightforward, and the camera has performed reliably. One feature I particularly appreciate is that the device clearly displays the installed firmware version (in my case, P12_Plus-P600-GGEW-20240913V1.3), which reflects good hardware and software version management by the manufacturer. What truly sets Pelsee apart, however, is its customer service. I contacted them to ask whether a newer firmware version was available for my specific hardware revision. Their response was prompt, professional, and refreshingly honest. Instead of recommending an unnecessary update, they explained that firmware releases are intended only to fix specific issues and that, if the camera is working properly, it is best to keep the current version for maximum stability. They also asked for my Amazon order number so they could keep it on file and provide priority assistance should I ever need support in the future. That level of attention demonstrates genuine commitment to customer satisfaction and confidence in their products. It is becoming increasingly rare to find a company that responds so quickly, transparently, and professionally. Their excellent after-sales support has made me even more confident in my purchase. My ratings: * ⭐ Product Quality: 10/10 * ⭐ Video Quality: 10/10 * ⭐ Ease of Installation: 9/10 * ⭐ Value for Money: 10/10 * ⭐ Customer Service: 10/10 I would definitely purchase from Pelsee again and highly recommend both the P12 Plus and the company to anyone looking for a high-quality dash camera backed by outstanding customer support.

Pelsee P12 Plus is a perfect dash cam camera
I have an SUV that has no front and rear camera nor lane assistant features, which makes my driving difficult especially in night or bad weather. I am not ready to replace my vehicle with a newer model with the updated safety features, so I decided to install a good dash cam that can solve my problems. Luckily I found the Superior 4K Dash Cam: Pelsee P12 Plus rearview mirror camera features 4K Ultra HD front recording and 1080p Full HD rear recording. This dash cam has advanced safety features: Include ADAS(Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), BSD(Blind Spot Detection), and LCA(Lane Change Assist), improve driving safety by alerting you to front collisions, maintaining safe distances, detecting pedestrians, notifying when the front vehicle moves, warning of lane departures, and identifying vehicles in blind spots or overtaking from the sides. In addition, the 4K ultra HD front recording and 1080p full HD rear recording with smart GPS functionality, recording vital details such as driving routes, real-time speed, and precise locations. You can track this data through our App or dedicated GPS Player, offering valuable evidence in case of an accident. This is really a game changer for me. The delivery of the package was very fast. Installing the Pelsee P12 dash cam with a professional look however needs some learning and planning. After watching several “how to” tutorial videos from Youtube, Of course, your car model may not be the exact ones in the tutorial videos. You may need to search for additional information for your specific car model. The received dash cam package contained all the parts needed for the installation. After a few trial and error, I have successfully installed the dash cam cameras and connected and hid all the wires. After the final adjustments, the installation is completed. I am really happy with the quality of the Pelsee P12 dash cam. The 12 inch mirror is bright, the 4K video is very clear, the rear camera with reverse line is very helpful when the car in reverse mode, and the ADAS, BSD, and LCA improve driving safety, and the saved the front and rear recordings really add a peace of mind in case of an accident. This product is loaded with so many useful features that easily be one of the best similar products in the market. I have no hesitation in giving the Pelsee P12 cash cam a 5 star rating.

Satisfied with that I got for the price, a few minor quirks
I have owned this dash cam since Jan 25 so I've had it for some time now. First thing is that the rear view mirror itself with the camera off is much bigger and better than my stock rear view mirror on my Hyundai Sonata, and I've had no problem with glare night or day and dont need to adjust it. As for functionality, within a few minutes of driving it kept saying collision detected during the course of normal driving. Luckily changing the collision sensitivity from the default medium to low fixed that issue. I found adjusting all the safety features a bit tedious so I just left them disabled, but thats more of me not having the patience or caring much about those features and not a knock on the camera. The rear camera could be better at night in very dark conditions, but its not too bad. Its always done its job and ive never had an issue with recordings. I drive for a living so I needed at least a 64gb card as opposed to the 32gb one which can record maybe three hours before overwriting itself. But its nice they inlcluded a 32gb card. As far as more annoying issues, the voice controls were working spotty at best. Sometimes I would have to repeat myself despite speaking loud and clear with no radio noise for commands to recognize, other times it would recognize commands easily without even having to speak loud. I figured I would check for a firmware update, but surprisingly there have never been any updates even when I first got the unit in Jan. I thought whatever, not a big deal, im sure theyll release one soon. But now August came around and still no updates when I check. So Im like huh...I go on the site to see if I still have the latest version. The site does not allow you to download firmware for this model and says to contact support to get the latest firmware, but also not saying what firmware is the latest. So I contact support and they promptly reply within a day sending me a firmware file that I have to download and extract directly to the SD card from my computer. So I do that, and my firmware version has definitely changed. So either they are false advertising and this device is not capable of OTA updates, or when I use the app while connected to the camera and go to check for updates and it says none, I am doing something wrong. Definitely contact support and request the latest firmware if you buy this camera to ensure you have the latest. We'll see if that fixes the spotty voice command issue as ive only just updated the firmware. Otherwise I am satisfied with the product and I believe I got what I paid for, product is worth the money aside from a few knocks. If the firmware update fixes the voice command issue I may change to 5 stars, but the fact that OTA updates do not work on this device will probably make me keep it at 4. In the future I may contact support and ask them why it says update not available when there is and if it was due to my error I will update this as well.

Clear View
The view and picture clarity is very good. I especially like the feature of having a SD card to save the videos. The camera continously runs when vehicle is off. The app makes it easy to see what is going on. Great product.

Good camera good quality, a little bit of pain to install fully
This unit works as described. I've seen a few of these units and they are usually on the cheaper end. This one seems to be pretty good at what it does, especially for the price. The camera quality on both cameras seem to be very good especially for the price. They both capture good wide-angle footage allowing you to grab footage not only directly in front of the cameras but also on the on the Front corner and rear corner areas of the car. The recording speed seems to be also spot-on It seems to capture the images live as you're moving. The the recordings are stored on a local miniature SD card that comes with the camera. If you ever feel the need to replace the SD card that comes with the camera I would recommend finding one that has a lot of write cycles or that is made for capturing video verses one that has a ton of storage. I would not worry about it having huge storage capacity unless you need to store footage of every trip you take for extended periods of time. The manufacturer and the seller on the Amazon listing both will tell you that it uses Wi-Fi for connectivity, not Bluetooth. I'm assuming they did this because it can record video up to 4K quality. Has Bluetooth was not designed for video. However with this said if you try to connect your phone by default your phone will try to connect to the internet through the Wi-Fi connection to the device and not use your cellular connectivity rendering your data connection useless It's connected to the unit. I have not used the app because of the connectivity challenge. I don't feel like it's enough to remove a star over because both the seller on the listing and even in the documentation the manufacturer tells you it only connects by Wi-Fi. However that it is something the manufacturer could really work on. Adding a Bluetooth connection In the future models alongside of the Wi-Fi. The gps compass, speed recording, and time / date is correct and calabrates perfectly every time you start the vehicle. The voice commands seem to work good as well however the speaker on it is faint so if your driving with your windows down and music up it can be difficult to hear it's alerts. The backup camera triggers perfectly once you have it wired to your reverse light as well. And if you mount it correctly the grid on the backup camera can be adjusted with sulfur controls on the unit allowing you to line up the grid almost perfectly with a parking spot. I have not been able to test all the features. You have to hardwire the unit directly to the fuse box or the power of the car to get extra features such as the security monitoring when the car's off, I have not been able to do that yet. You will also have to buy a separate wiring kit for this. The main kit only comes with only a 12 volt DC plug (or what some would call a cigarette lighter plug) to keep the unit powered on when driving your vehicle. Installation: Installing the main camera and mirror screen itself is easy. You take two rubber pieces and loop it around the back side of the current mirror in your car placing the unit over top of your mirror and you connect the two rubber pieces to hooks on the unit. It hangs in place without much of an issue. Simply plug in the DC adapter on the top and run it down too your power source in your car. The GPS antenna is also plug and play and plugs into 3.5 mm slot barrel slot on the top of the unit. You can place the antenna wherever it may get a good signal as it has a decent amount of wiring that comes with it. The cable that runs through the rear camera that transmits the video to the unit, has a decent length itself for most vehicles. Please note however if you have a hatchback like my vehicle you may have some difficulty finding a place to mount it. If you try to run the rear camera wiring through the wiring slots and harnesses into the hatchback door you may have a lot of difficulty doing this as some of those harnesses have tight rubber seals around them. You will also need to take note when installing the rear camera. The power switch cord that you wire to your reverse light on your car that triggers the rear camera to come on when you put the vehicle in reverse is also only around 6 ft. Not leaving you with a lot of room to run it through wiring harnesses on especially if you have a hatchback and try to run it through the door then back through it to one of your reverse lights on your tail light. I wind up mounting my beneath my vehicle screwing it into my bumper cover from below. Although it set kind of low it still seems to work. Even the backup grid lines work okay itself. Surprisingly even after driving it to the rain and etc the camera seems to function fine. I then ran the switch cable up in between the bumper and bumper cover up then through the side of the tail light into the back of the tail light. Then I splice it into the tail light power cable. I also ran the main video cable in same direction as it seemed to be the easiest, once it it was in the tail light area I ran it through one of the rubber harnesses seals that allows my tail light wires to go out through my car into the tail light. Then I ran that video cable along the interior molding all the way to the front of the car and I plugged it into the camera as the manual shows. Whether you wire the switch wire to the reverse light The rear camera will still function. It will still receive power from the video cable. Since the unit is not only a camera system but functions as your rearview mirror it is not always on. That way you can use it as a rear view mirror. So after a few minutes the screen will go out. And you will be driving looking at the display like it is a rearview mirror. If you do not wire the switch cable then it won't trigger the rear camera to display on the unit when you put it in reverse. This could be okay as long as you're okay with tapping on the mirror so you can see the camera display. Outside of adding Bluetooth connection to it. The only other thing I could recommend to the manufacturer and as a bit of a warning to the buyer is the the way the rear camera connects to the video and front power cable. There is a four-pin connection that is in a barrel connector that plugs in. It's hard to line up the pins and it's easy to smash them. We would recommend a different type of connection for the wiring something that would be easier to clip into place. However if you purchase the unit it's going to have this connection so I recommend carefully aligning the pins as good as you can and then giving it a firm press. The pins will not go into the socket without firmly pressing it in but at the same time you want to make sure it's lined up properly because if not you will smash those pins if you press firmly on them. Outside of that I still give the camera five stars for what it is and the cost of it. I've seen cheaper models by other companies that are nowhere near the quality of this unit for its price.

Wonderful Product, no issues.
Great Camera, No problem. I have been using my Pelsee P12 Plus 4K for over a year now and the experience has been excellent. The video and image quality is very good. It is easy to use. All features work as stated and I have had zero issues up to this point. The voice commands, such as "Show rear camera", "Show front Camera" , " Take photo", has been helpful. Adjusting the blind spot zones has been a breeze. If you want a wider blind spot area, you can adjust to your likings. The built in compass works. Downloading videos and images from Pelsee P12 Plus to my phoe my is quite user friendly. Battery life was never an issue. It fits my 2017 Honda Odyssey without any issue. All in all I am enjoying my Pelsee P12 Plus. Great product

I was expecting smarter "smart driving features"
Well, I have to rate this camera based on the whole package it offers and not just as a dash camera, in which case I would have rated it higher. I have to say that the main reason I bought this camera was for the driving assistance features it offers. Pros: *Nice front and rear cameras with good visibility during the day. *The recordings are decent. *BSD & LCA generally work well. So-so: *At night,in very dark areas with no city lights the rear camera struggles a bit and produces strong reflections from other cars' headlights. *There is also some pixelation in general, *Additionelly in very sunny days, there is some glare in the mirror, but this is minimal if the car glasses are tinted Cons: *Not all smart driving features can operate simultaneously, and the company does not specify this in the description. You can only use either ADAS or BSD along with LCA. *The ADAS smart feature is not so… smart. It does not function well at all, and the strange thing is that it could easily be fixed with an update! The camera locks onto all vehicles in its field of view and gives false alarms for distance keeping and collisions, even when the settings are on the lowest sensitivity. If you drive on city streets with cars parked or passing by on both sidelines, it continuously triggers false alarms. There should be an additional calibration setting allowing users to adjust the width of the detection area using vertical calibration lines. This way, vehicles on the sides could be excluded, and the system would focus only on vehicles directly ahead. If implemented, this would make collision and distance warnings relevant only for vehicles in front. I still wonder how nobody at the company thought of this and fixed it. edit>>> I realised that the appearance of the yelow box that detects the lane in front of the car eliminates most of the false alarms for the cars aside, but this only appears occasionelly and only if the "lane departure detection" is activated in the setting which is odd! But when the car moves in a one lane Street or streets that they have no linework, the system scans all the cars left and right and keeps giving false warnings about collision and distances. ADAS front collision detection feature was the main reason I bought this camera, but unfortunately, I had to deactivate it due to the excessive and unnecessary alerts. I also relized that the pedestrian warning sound does not work at all. In addition the system cannot distinguish motorcycle riders from pedestrians, so it does not give any alerts for them either. The only ADAS features that work somewhat properly is the "lane departure" (which i dont need0 and "front vehicle movement" alert. However… When you put the car in reverse, it still gives you an alert for the vehicle in front—which is parked! So, as I said, it's not that… smart. *Additionelly the sound is too low. What would make it worth 5 stars: *Additional customization & calibration for each smart feature within ADAS. *Louder sound. *A front camera separated from the mirror, attached in the front glass, allowing for better coverage in cars with large sensor-base on default mirrors. *Simultaneous use of ADAS, BSD & LCA. *I always use the rear camera in the mirror screen so in the same time I hear the warnings from ADAS. It could be much better if I could only see an optical warning in the screen instead of hearing sound warnings. *I would also pay extra money for a 4K rear camera which i think is much more important than the front .

Works as promised. Video download is rather slow but functional.
Using solely the front camera for the moment. Because I need to drill a hole in the roof of the camper to get the rear camera up and running. Bit the quality is sooooo good ! Very happy with it.

Espero y no falle. La garantía es un año.
