I gave them a full day - sun up to sun down - to get a good charge. Checked the power switch found inside. (The crackle glass bulb easily twists off the stainless steel base.) Then I hung them from short hooks in my patio. The spot gets a significant amount of sunlight during the day. These are very pretty color changing lights! Small enough to not be obtrusive since they are in between chairs and walkway, large enough to create a lovely play of light on the ground. Review: Very pretty - These are very pretty to hang from my shepherd hooks and give a little extra color to my hanging baskets. I wish I had more to add to my other flower gardens. At times they are a little dimmer, but I have not figure out if that has more to do with the amount or sun they receive in the day. I need to compare after a sunny day and a cloudy day to see if that makes the difference. All in all I really like them and wish I had more.

Love them
I love these little lights in the yard, just disappointed that one of the four isn't working. If they all worked I definitely would have given them a 5 star.

I love these!
I love these!!! I have purchased them four times. I keep buying more. Usually one doesn't work but that's okay. I love them!

Awesome when they work
These are very pretty and look great in the garden when they work. You do need to make sure they are in full sunlight or they won't stay on all night. I ordered two boxes & returned one as half of the lights between the two orders were not working correctly.

They don’t work well if at all! Shame on the manufacturers for deceptive practices.
They’re pretty but they don’t work!!! I’ve never gotten anything from Amazon that I’m unhappy with however, this is the exception!

There are always broken units. These are cheap.
Three functional units right out of the box but the fourth arrived broken. I think I might be able to fix the globe if the light works. I’ve been charging them since they arrived this morning and hopefully will have at least most of this be worth it.
