very good adds lots more light seems a bit blue and isn’t much brighter than the old light but better. very easy instillation tho

Easy to fit and a massive improvement on the stock lighting. Timelapse videos are also improved as the lighting is more even.

Great piece of kit pity the motherboard won’t power this with the old light as it’s likely to overhead and blow something as the power increase goes over its threshold. Lighting wise there is a slight image improvement due to glare on the printer head being in a different angle which does seem to sharpen up the image in the original camera. The biggest improvement is looking through the front door I can actually see what’s printing as before it was always in the shadow of the object as was lite to the side. Be careful removing the adhesive backed material when you go looking for the plug port the other side of the control panel as mine was stuck to a ribbon connector which I then had to reconnect luckily I did damage it. Had to watch the video several times to make sure I got the right ports the correct way round on the supplier PCB.

It was a bit fiddly to install the connector and I nearly ripped out a bit I shouldn’t have, but once installed it does a grand job, Would love to see another version where there’s two slightly shorter strips but ones can go on opposite sides - and still use the same connector. Simple enough to achieve in your own I suspect, but I can’t be bothered lol

This is a very straightforward, low-cost, and effective upgrade - in my case to a P1S. The light bar clips magnetically to the printer, and connects to the existing power connector via a small (and slightly fiddly) daughterboard. Installation is pretty quick and easy and took only a few minutes before it was up and running. It's perhaps not as bright as I might have expected, but it is a significant upgrade over the factory-fitted light-bar and does a much better job of illuminating the dark interior of the P1S. Once installed it is very unobtrusive and can't be seen (other than the light it casts). One annoyance is that the installation instructions are via a QR code - stop making me scan things and look at them on my phone; it's not convenient - give me some proper instructions !

Easy to fit, very bright compared to standard P1S light. LED quality is excellent. Only took 5 mins to fit.

Excellent product, very easy to install, makes a huge difference to the lighting level inside the printer. Well designed and comes with everything you need even 3M stickers (which I didn’t use), clear instructions and next day delivery from Amazon. Great value.
