I’m writing this review one day after receiving , when I purchased this speaker I needed it to give me a cinematic experience for my projector in a small room and boy does it deliver ! Has the stereo I needed for a surround experience but also “Spatial Audio “ I’m new to this experience and it’s beautiful on this speaker … I watched “It” and the sounds were amazing in and out all aroundNew to that sound which tell me this is my most premium Speaker now ! I own a Bose flex link and love it but wanted a 2.1 experience that’s portable and loud powerful enough and this is it !!!!! I love it this will be my theater speaker/sound bar … use this instead of a sound bar am charging it now to see how long it last but I’m happy so far I totally recommend this speaker ! Also I purchased the 40 dollar G6 same Brand and it’s also a great speaker for portability and playing at a respectful noise lever around people … and personal use it’s stereo with 2 speakers and a subwoofer great for the price but not for the theater experience I am getting fromIts beautiful big black older mature brother the S8 pro max !

I have a smaller room that is for lounging and it has a wall unit. I wanted to have the room immersed with a rich sound. I ordered two of these to pair and it does the trick. A lot of bass. Only knock is I wish there was an app for equalizer, but I can do that through my phone.

Bogasing has been around for a few years catering mostly to the Asian market. It is very difficult to find any reviews online in English. Alan Ross favorably reviewed a few of their cheaper models as very good for the price. This speaker is something different, somehow shoves 5 drivers in to a reasonably small package, it sounds very good and has the best Bass I've heard on a speaker its size. Speaking of size, it is interesting, about 3 pounds and measuring 11" x 5"x 2.5" it could be packed in your luggage for a trip but I suspect this is more an at home speaker. That brings up a major con, it doesn't seem to be very water resistant, and its metal construction does not seem to up to drops and bumps.I compared this to a few of my speakers. The DOSS Soundbox Ultra has a similar metal soundbar aesthetic and driver layout. The Doss is both bigger and cheaper, produces similar highs and deeper bass while going louder. The Doss Extreme Boom S is less than half the price, loouder and bassier, waterproof and constructed out of more durable materials so would be much better for outdoor activities. Ankers Soundcore X600 as well as the X500, also have exceptional sound, AAC, APTX, an app that can do custom EQ (the Bogasing only supports 3 presets) and are fully IPX7 waterproof. Pricing is very similar to this one. Anyway it is a fine speaker for a bedroom or dorm room, maybe taking on the deck but I can't recommend it over the other options above. If the made it a little more rugged and added a true app with EQ it might be worth considering but in a world where you can get x500 renewed for a c-note no way this is a good deal at 170 or 140 on sale.

Great sound, works well with my iphone connected via bluetooth. But when I connect to my laptop at work via bluetooth I don't get any sound. The speaker makes both audio and LED confirmation that it's connected via bluetooth but I don't get any sound. I've tried a number of things i.e. disconnect other unused USB devices, etc. It just doesn't want to work via laptop USB connection and that is how I intended to use the speaker. Hence the low rating.
