How to get black coverage with this powder

For getting the jet black color on hair, you need to follow two step application with Natural Henna Powder and Indigo Powder respectively.

1st step:

·       Take the required amount of 100% Natural Henna Powder in a non-metallic bowl.
·       Put some normal water into it to form a thick paste.
·       To get a darker and better result you can add 1-2 tsp of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Some Drops of Lemon Juice, Some 1-2 tsp of Organic Amla Powder, Black tea, Yoghurt etc…  into the paste. (As available with you). Its not compulsory to put all of them, but the more vitamin ‘c’ will help you to get a darker color.
·       Form a smooth paste of it, make sure there are no lumps and its smooth to apply.
·       Cover the bowl with a plastic wrap and store it under room temperature for 4-6 hours. (you can also store it even longer). As Henna takes time to release its dye (Lawson pigment). The Longer you keep it, the stronger will be color.
·       After a good time of storing, your henna paste will be ready to apply.
·       You can apply it evenly on your hair and wait for 60-90 Minutes to dry.
·       Wash it with normal water once it dry (do not use any shampoo at this wash).
 
* If you have completely grey hair, you will see your hair turned into coppery orange color. The shade of henna color will always differ depending on the your original hair color.

2nd Step:

·       Now as you have already Hennaed your hair into coppery orange color, its time to turn them black.
·       Take the required amount of 100% Natural Indigo Powder in a Non-Metallic Bowl.
·       Mix it with normal water.
·       You can add some drops of essential oils like: Eucalyptus Oil, Tea Tree Oil for an aromatic feel.
·       Form the smooth paste of Indigo Powder and wait for 15-20 Minutes (you may see the green paste, turning a little blue).
·       The paste is ready for application on your hennaed hair.
·       You can apply it evenly on your hair and wait for 60-90 Minutes to dry.
·       Wash it with normal water once it dry (do not use any shampoo at this wash).

* If you have completely Hennaed hair (coppery orange), you will see your hair turned into Jet Black color. The shade of Henna+ Indigo color will always differ depending on the your original hair color.

Cautions:

·       Even though Henna and Indigo are 100% Natural and Chemical free products. We recommend you to do a patch taste to see you are not allergic of it.
·       Always wear gloves while application so that you do not color out your skin ;) .
·       Its not a chemical dye that gives you instant results, if your hair are chemically treated, the results will take time to come. The color of the hair will get darker over time and you will see the better results with regular applications. So don’t worry if you do not see the expected results at 1st time.
