SHARPAL 210N TRANSFOROD 11-in-1 Adjustable Angle Guided Knife Sharpener
The media could not be loaded. Overall impressions are that while the instructions are poor, this is a well-thought out device and makes knife sharpening at home accessible to novices with just a single item, rather than needing a set of sharpening stones and strops. It does however suffer slightly from combining everything into one - in particular the sharpening/honing surfaces are very narrow which means more passes are required.I myself am just learning about sharpening my own knives so I hope experts can pardon the techniques on show in the video which are perhaps not perfect and simply show how to use this device. I advise people who wish to perfect their techniques to seek out some videos on YT.This device comes equipped with 3 sets of sharpening rods - 350 grit, 1000 grit and ceramic, together with a tapered diamond rod for fish-hooks. There's also a rough and a smooth strop. You set the angle of the orange angle guides at the end of the handle via a knob, hold the knife against the angle guide to set the angle and then pass it down the sharpening rod using both sides of the sharpener to work both sides of the knife.I like the fact that all the rods are stored on board but when using it's best to tip them all out and leave them out until finished. The instructions are quite poor, largely because the images are very small and it's difficult to see what's going on in them - this could really do with a demonstration video on the Amazon page, which is why I decided to create one. I hope this is helpful to people.✅ Well thought out design✅ Material seem of good quality⛔ Instructions poor➗Sharpening stone and strop surfaces are quite narrow, so it takes many more passes to sharpen a knife properly✅Convenient to have everything needed in one device✅The angle guides work quite well and are a good assist for novices.

Very Well Designed & Engineered.
This sharpener is a piece of well thought out design and engineering, everything about this sharpener shouts quality. The sharpener feels really sturdy in the hand and is certainly robust. You get 5 diamond grit rods and 2 ceramic rods, all these are stored in the sharpener itself and can be accessed by unscrewing the top and removing them from inside the sharpener to the grooves on the outside of the sharpener. On the outside there are also suede and leather strops. For storage you unscrew the sharpener and store it in the handle making it really compact, a genius idea. The only downside I can see is if you have not used a sharpener like this before as you will definitely have to practice at holding the angle all the way down the knife. Even though there are adjustable guides on the handle which can be set between 15 and 30 degrees by twisting a collar, you will still need to practice as you can very quickly dull and blunt a knife if you do not know what you are doing. In conclusion, this is a quality sharpener that is very portable and can sharpen just about anything you can think of. It is not cheap, but you pay for what you get and in my opinion this is worth it, you can feel the quality the moment you hold it in your hand. Recommended.

Need to know how to use it or could ruin knives
I am used to using a countertop knife sharpener but wanted to try this SHARPAL 210N TRANSFOROD 11-In-1 Adjustable Angle Guided Knife Sharpener so ordered it on Amazon Vine. The sharpening stones are located inside the head of this Sharpener - the top of it unscrews and they can be taken out.I’ve tried sharpening one of my kitchen knives a few times, but it takes practice to get the right angle for the blade to be sharp. I ended up spending almost an hour for it to be sharp enough to cut a tomato. Just need more exercise to get used to it...

If it's got a bladed edge then this will sharpen it... with relative ease.
This is an excellent blade sharpener which, once you’ve got the hang it using it, it helps keep your knives, and more, nice and sharp. The handle itself is about 170mm long, with the head being 120mm long, making it about 290mm long. The handle and head separate by unscrewing them apart. As does the end of the head which unscrews to let you get at the ‘stick’ sharpening pieces. You get several sharpening rods inside the main head of the sharpening rod, sliding out the one you want. You get smooth leather, ceramic rods, diamond tapered, suede leather, diamond sharpening rod and others. The chosen rod then screws into the top of the handle and begin sharpening.Either side of the handle there are guide sections, adjusted by turning the dial around the guides. This gives the best angle, between 15° and 30°, to begin sharpening. But you do have to keep the same angle manually as you drag the blade along the sharpening edge. This is not only for sharpening blades, it’s for arrow heads and fish hooks too, although I’ve not tried these functions, as yet.I’ve mainly used this for sharpening kitchen knives but I’ve tried this on other knives and am happy with the result on each blade I’ve sharpened. In all, this is a nice all round sharpening rod which you will end up using more than you think you will. It sharpened a variety of things, not just blades, and, after a little practice, it does a great job in doing so. The only thing is the price, it might seem a little steep at £36.99 but you will get your monies worth over time. So it could be money well spent.
