Great, and not just for treble heads
Fiio has been making incredible portable audio devices lately. For the price, they are amazing deals. This is a triple driver with two knowles BA drivers, which are known for their dynamics and resolution. There is a U-shaped tuning in this, with a slight base bump and a treble peak at around 8k - 10k but it is not fatiguing at all (I heard the treble peak in the original F9 was a little too sharp, but I never owned one). I am a bit of a treble head, mind. There is a great sense of detail and extension of the highs. The soundstage and imaging are ok - in fact I'd say imaging is good for the price.I found them to be very well built in titanium grey metal and quite comfortable - fit a bit like the mid range Shures. it attenuates quite a bit of outside noise (especially with the foam tips) though not as much as the Shures. As a comparison with the $299 Oriveti New Primacy (twice the price but same architecture with 2 BA and 1 dynamic driver set up), it is only a matter of personal choice. The Oriveti is more refined and laid back. the treble is clear but maybe a tad bit recessed, and has a dryer sound (vocals sound raspier). The fiio is more energetic with instruments really at the fore but maybe a tad bit muddier at the mid-base frequencies. the fiio has a meatier and fuller sound and will be preferred by those who are not so used to the more analytical BA sound. The upcoming Chinese companies are much more generous with their accessories (at the same price range) than their more established western or Japanese counterparts. Fiio is no exemption. You get four types of eartips in different sizes. A standard/balanced option (all black silicon)/ a base emphasized option (black with red core) / a vocal emphasized option (clear with red core) and universal size memo foam options. You also get a (very small) soft pouch for carrying in pocket and a larger hard plastic pelikan type case of impeccable quality - just about pocketable though I suspect its meant for carrying in bags. You also get choice of two mmcx cables - a normal 3.5 ended one with mic and remote and a 2.5 mm balanced one- braided 4 thread - with no mic and remote. This makes the IEM a perfect match for the Fiio q1 mk II DAC, which has both these outputs. The cables are pretty decent at the price range - cannot beat the excellent 8 thread braided ones of my Oriveti, but to be fair those IEMs are twice the price, and frankly for most of the target consumer, the mic and remote option in the fiio will be more useful than the arguably improved sound with the Oriveti cable.Overall, probably the best IEM available in India at the sub 10K. There are arguably some other Chinese brands offering even better deals (like the Magaosi K3 HD at about $100) but those are not easy to obtain and one takes a chance importing from abroad. Fiio is officially marketing in India and that makes a big difference down the line.

Pretty good especially for who want balanced graphs
The iem is quite good . It's packing is good and the no of accessories are quite exquisite . The cables provided are good one being the 2.5 balanced cable while the 3.5 cable does have a remote control but it's braided like the 2.5 one which I found to be very disappointing I would have preferred a standard braided 3.5 cable instead of the one sent . The tips provided are quite good but felt some of them are quite small but the foam tips are amazing and block almost all sounds from outside . The earphone itself is quite small and light but being made from metal. It's quite dense . And. The mmxc connection is very good and is almost too strong . The sound quality is definitely it's high point I compared it to my old kz zst even though not a fair comparison fiio had imo done everything better than the kz including the fit . The bass is less boomy and is very audiophile like , the treble is quite high but that is how I like it , while isn't muddied and is very audible and tuned. While the sound stage not being the best compared to. My obravo cupid it's still quite good the z axis and y axis is quite wide tho x axis could have been wider . In conclusion it's quite good especially if you like a balanced graph with lowered bass and slightly higher than usual treble plus the additional stuff is the icing on the cake

Accurate sound with a slight trade off in the highs .
Ok ! This earphone is actually and very noticeably has a abnormal emphasis on the highs .The bass is perfect , ignore the bassheads trashing this product’s bass capabilities . This in an iem and not any bass boosted crap and it supposed to reproduce the most accurate sound possible . In my opinion the bass was very punchy , quick and of very high quality ( yes quality I don’t know how else to express how the bass felt ) . In simple words comparing with shitty bass boosted earphones and low tier avg earphones , the bass here definitely proves the point : quality over quantity .Mids are a slightly recessed meaning vocals in a very instrument or edm heavy song will be of slightly less clarity but its better or equal in this front than every other earphone upto this price range .Build quality is medium . I was quite impressed by the solid metal cased iems but looking at it closely definitely shows it to be not the best manufactured product as there is difference in the metal casing joint gaps between the two earpieces . While this doesn’t cause any problem or has yet but makes me skeptical or less confident about its durability and sturdyness .Wires provided are good nothing special ( above avg ) and don’t tangle easily . Other packaging stuff are pretty default and imo not much of a thing someone who buys this for pure listening experience cares about but for the others : yes ! Its there. Now coming to a problem that I have faced for which I have requested for a replacement as of writing this review :While listening through my laptop I came across a strabge issue . While listening and changing the equaliser it caused the earphone to stop reproducing the low frequency ranges . I spent hours trying to figure out what was happening but finally just unplugging and plugging it back in resolved it and I was back to listening the full spectrum . I tried to reproduce the bug again and it happened again and again . I took a better part of a day coming to the conclusion that it was indeed the problem in the iems as all other iems worked completely fine . I surely think this is a unit specific issue and hope the replacement unit will solve it . I will update this review after I recieve the replacement.UPDATE : Got the replacement and surprisingly its condition was even worse and the sound seemed to crackle in higher notes so had return them again . Getting my refund . My review still stays the same at 4 stars cause for what its worth the sound was really good but the products that are getting shipped are too old (mfg date more than 7 months ago) which are causing the units to be be very bad in condition and can affect your satisfaction from the overall product .
