The date mentioned on the said packet is 25 APR 2018 and a white sticker is pastedon the top of the said packet. When I removed the said, I found the original date was 15 NOV 2017.This means that the original date was hided by pasting a sticker and a rubber stamp of new date of 25 APR 2018was put so the customer can be mislead. As per the instructions on the said packet the said product( green tea)must be consumed before 12 months from the date packaging. The said act of omission or commission amountsto cheating and playing with the life of customer.

Real deal
Over the years I have had green teas from most off-the-shelf brands and the other lesser known boutique ones, both of Indian and foreign estates (China, Burma and SE Asian). This is definitely in my top three. The curled leaves are hand-rolled and they open up nicely when in the pot. The flavours are on the stronger side without the body being too bitter, so you will actually end up using much less quantity compared to the green-tea bags (which I think are a waste and ecologically harmful). The packaging may not look fancy, but what’s inside is. IMO the product is under-priced for what it’s worth.
