Shoes a Celebration of Pumps, Sandals, Slippers & More

I am very impressed with the content of this book. It is full of pictures accompanied by text, related to the history of each shoe. The pocket size was a beautiful surprise as it makes it easy to carry in a handbag and read. It is a fun and easy read that will give you lots of insight on the history of shoes. Definitely a keeper!

I was shown this book originally by my Chiropodist! He couldn't understand why I complain about my feet yet insist on wearing heels! So he went away and read this book. I couldn't believe it! However it served my curiosity so well that I've actually bought 3 copies. 1 for me...of course... The other 2 as gifts for friends one of whom is a heel queen like myself, the other friend is to be educated about the wonders of heels!

loved this book. a great history of shoes and you can see where shoe brands get their ideas from. One to read again and again

Nicely presented, chunky little book crammed with colour photos of all kinds of shoes, along with some interesting text. Good coffee table book, as you do wonder who wore some of the shoes included!
