It tends to reduce connectivity and it's also not visible from the front so doesn't really contribute anything to my enjoyment.That said, this is a pretty reliable brand I have a couple dozen puzzles from. While they do have some of the public domain shapes, most of theirs are pretty original graphics, some of them quite interesting.There are a ton of hummingbird puzzles but I thought this one was pretty.Good colors, no problems with burn marks. I did have a couple pieces where the graphic overlay as peeling off the wood but they're fixable.

These wooden puzzles are so beautiful.

This is a really nice wooden puzzle. It is pretty much typical of others like it. I normally do not do ones with this low number of pieces to them, but I love hummingbirds and thought this would be nice to possibly glue and display. The pieces are more challenging as they are odd shapes. It will be a good smaller project puzzle to work on for a rainy day.
