Bang for the buck
You get what you pay for ; it easily beats any speakers at this price point . Thought the sound is not par with its bigger cousin 1700 but definately sound amazing . Bluetooth function is spot on ; bass is punchy , treble and mids are ok . As the bass port is in the back make sure it not placed too near to a wall else will deliver muddy sound. Sounds best at 50 % to 80% volume. If you have an iphone & an itune subscruption a definate must have as a bedroom setup!Edifier should step the game up with a 6 or 8 inch woofer module for casual audiophiles

Glides though your ears. It's that good...
After having Legendary Sony GR8.... I have had used creative , F&D, Mi, and many Sony, Seinhizer, JBL, Philips, Skull candy, Motorola earphones and headphones. Then I landed on pair of these bookshelf speakers. Let me say although it shreaks at high volume. But between 40-60 % of the voulme, which is pretty loud. The sound quality, the details, specially the mids with no compromise on highs and lows are simply music to ears. Not large but a tiny concert at home, that's what I would say. Beautiful manifestation of amazing engineering is at play here guys, and trust me it's sounds like that too. I just love it.. don't think twice, after discount it's really a bargain of a price. You won't go wrong.

Amazing product.
Amazing product for the price. The bass is strong and the high frequency is clear too. I don't even turn the volume more than 60%, it gets pretty loud. In this price its the best

Sound Exceptional for the price
Received today, tested it and everything's seems fine. Sound quality is exceptionally good for the price (I get it in Diwali Discount) but it will not be fair to compare with higher priced speakers. For Desktop Computer in casual listening, it is recomendable. BUT, I have ordered Black one and I received Yellow (wood) colour, this tempt me to return/replace... but instead I give it only 3 star

Best speakers in the price range
Best speakers in the price range... Highs and mids are unmatched, lows are well pronounced but not as punchy as i thought they would be.. But overall a good package. If you want speakers for your computers or want to use it as studio monitors for an initial setup... Go for it.. However if you can spend a little more, just buy the big brother of these speakers i.e. 1280t, you won't regret!

Below average speakers
I had been using a Creative 2.1 Channel Speaker for the past 3 years and wanted to upgrade to a decent pair of speakers, although the R1010BT is very well built and is aesthetically pleasing, the sound quality compared to the much cheaper old speakers is very disappointing to say the least.Bass is present but overpowering and booming (I've tried changing the level according to my room as well to no avail), mids (low mids especially) are very muffled and treble/hi-end frequencies just get lost in the mix, overall producing a very muddy sound output.I regret purchasing these set of speakers.

Good for specific use cases
Wanted a set of speakers for my desk, and after considering the more expensive and larger models by edifier, mackie and JBL, I decided to get these. So far, not too bad. Missing some rather basic functionality that’s needed for a desktop setup. (Front mounted volume, easy source switching)My take is that these speakers are great if you are going to connect them and leave them as is, not adjusting the speaker volume or connectivity using the speaker controls, instead adjusting from the source. Think gym speakers, or kitchen speakers or something where it’s set and forget.Sound is decent, but not great. For example on RTJs nobody speak, the bass drowns out the vocals and highs on default bass setting. Have to turn it all the way down to get to an acceptable sound. Similarly on tame impalas borderline, the baseline is just a muffled mess. No amount of settings fixed this. Kinda upset, I love tame impala. :(Whatever, these speakers are so cheap they’re practically free. I can put up with it when I don’t care about the sound quality. I’m keeping these but the search for a good desktop speaker continues.
