Why would you market it as a "demon protection amulet"? It's the Samulet. It doesn't protect the characters from demons, but instead symbolises Sam and Dean's brotherly bond and also works as a detection of God. Please, don't change the name of significant props in the tale.

This isn't a 'demon protection' amulet. This is the Samulet. It was supposed to burn hot in the presence of God but we all know that it didn't work because Castiel had a amulet for a while and he was in the presence of God(Chuck) and the amulet did nothing. Bobby gave this to Sam when he was a kid. He was supposed to gift it to their father on Christmas but gave it to Dean instead. The Samulet represented the brotherly love between Sam and Dean. Dean throws away the amulet in Season 5an episode called "The Dark Side Of The Moon", season 5. *wipes a tear.* Why'd you do that Dean?!
