can this be played on the old wii?

I have this game and play it on the Wii. We do not have the new Wii U.

can this game be played on Wii U?

No. It doesn't work, i'm returning it for that reason :(

Can you also play as World Cup teams or is it just regular season teams? In other words, can you play by country rather than by team? Thanks!

You can play as any team of any league...

If you play this on wii u can you use the gamepad.

I don't know. It is a Christmas gift for my 9 year old grandson. I will ask him after he gets the gift. Sorry I could not help you now!
