Length and gauge of wire appears as per specs. Very low resistance. Material appears to be multi-braided Copper. I measured with a multimeter for the entire length along each conductor. Suitable for audio system, I used approximately 45 feet each to connect my Taga Harmony Azure B-40 speaker set in a large room as surround pair, the sound is just bliss.5. Recommended for high quality audio system.

I personally used in HT-IV300 Sony Home theater and i wouldn't lie about this the sound quality does increases but not that like wow with the ghoos bumps, but yes there is a noticable difference in the sound as it can take high wattage sound easily. My opinion yes its worth getting hands on it but only when you feel the wire of the stocks one is short and you need every bit of performance from your Home theater or speaker system.

Good quality

I bought this to hook up my 2 surround speakers to the home theater system. Quality seems to be very good, thickness of wire is appropriate and insulation is also ok. Wire is also quite flexible. The speakers had 4 ohm impedance, but the sound output seems to be fine. No idea if its actually OFC or not, but it sure has a copper look to it (maybe plated). Overall good value for money

Recently I purchased this.Quality is nice.Sound quality of my 5.1 polk towers and center speakers improved when I replaced it with my old 16 guage wire..which were producing distortion.......And yes it is value for money...

It's not pure copper. It's copper coated. But the quality of the product is good. The thickness is good as needed for a decent home theater setup. Connected to my front channels. Left right & center speakers. Sound quality improved. Better solder the wire before connect. Will get better result. And don't file the wire much. No need. That may remove the copper. I got exact 30m/100ft wire sealed pack. Thanks amazon
