These things worked great. Tough little gizmos. Definitely smaller than most you have seen, but for what I was doing they were just fine. Well worth the price

This is a 2 ton pulling capacity (with snatch block) cable winch, more commonly known as a "Comealong". Good design,and nicely made. The cable is not overly long (7 feet), which will not give you a very long pulling capability, but it is sufficient for most purposes. Well made, and simple to operate. Fair price, and overall, a nice unit. I'd order again.

Poor manufacturing design -- I spent 20 minutes working to get the cable extended out of the winch. Poor enginnering, there is no lever or button to hold back the locking teeth, so I had to use your fingers and pry the cable out with a screwdriver a cenmtimeter at a time. The cabe is very short, too short. NOTE TO THE COMPANY: Go back a properly redesign this winch -- I am sure you have had complaints before regard your poor design.

Not terribly long, but I knew that. Otherwise it works really well for moving/lifting heavy objects.

The first time I used it, getting the cable to unwind was a struggle (Yes, I was doing it right). It appeared the cable was tangled. After the first use, the cable was still tangled and would not easily. I am assuming there was some type of defect in the unit. The way the unit is set up to release is also not easy. You have to push on this small piece of metal, which does not move easily. In the end, I returned the unit.

I purchased this for my snowmobile after sinking it in some deep snow. I received it and took it into the bush to retrieve the machine. The winch works well! Positives are that its compact, pulley allows more torque and hooks are pretty good. Negatives are the short cable run (i had a rope and straps so that wasn't a big problem for me) and the 7.5 foot cable really only gives you 4 feet of pull per setup. (Because the pulley cuts cable length in half) One catch looks a bit light but the unit did the job and is ready to use again if I need it.

Did the job extra well! My Apple tree was leaning a bit too much. Using this come along from early spring until Summers’s end making tension adjustments every two weeks it finds brought the tree upright. This come along winch was definitely a good investment. Next Summer I’ll be using it to install a chain link fence.
