My 5 year old loves this alarm. He loves picking out a color every night and he liked he got to choose his own alarm sound. I bought it for him as he started school and wanted him to feel more reasonable in getting up in the morning. So far he’s doing great.

My four-year-old loves to get up early, which was making it difficult to get work done in the mornings. Then I discovered sleep training clocks, and they are AMAZING! After looking at several options, I chose this one, and so far, it's been great. You can program the clock so that the cat "sleeps" (the eyes close) and then wakes up when it's time to get up (eyes open). My toddler has stayed in bed every day this week until the eyes open—it's been a lifesaver! He loves the clock, gives it goodnight kisses, and insists on showing me its open eyes in the morning. Super cute!Pros:The design is adorable, and it's easy for my toddler to understand when it’s time to wake up.It’s simple to program compared to other sleep training clocks I looked into.The child lock feature prevents him from pushing the buttons and messing with the settings.The visual cues are great: the light turns from red to green, and the eyes open when it’s wake-up time.You can turn the alarm off, which is perfect since I also have a 2-year-old who sometimes sleeps in. This wasn’t an option with some other clocks I researched, and it was a big deciding factor for me.Cons:It is not a sound machine, unlike some other sleep training clocks I looked into.It also doesn't have an “almost time to get up” feature, which other clocks offer.In "napping" mode, the cat's eyes don’t close, which confused my toddler during naps. He enjoys “sleeping” when the cat does, so that was a bit of a letdown. Although the light still changes for naps, the lack of closed eyes is disappointing.

This little clock is adorable! It’s really easy to set up too! The buttons on the sides are clearly labeled and you can change the colors or just have it as a regular warm nightlight. There are 3 levels of brightness for the basic light feature and 3 levels of backlight for the how bright the clock face is. I also love that there are options for solid colors or some multi color rainbow type lighting options.My little one is only 4 so we set it to not make any alarm sound (which is the U 0 as shown in the last picture), but just to turn the change the color for sleep and wake up. The cat face actually closes its eyes when it goes into sleep mode and opens then when in wake mode. So we can tell her “oh look! kitty cat went to sleep it must be time for you to go to sleep too!”She loves this little cat and wants to bring him everywhere so it’s great that it has a chargeable battery so I can just plug it in at night after she is asleep.She has dropped him several times and while the clock face cover did pop off one time she was able to put it back herself so it is definitely durable!She doesn’t nap usually so we haven’t used that feature to be able to say how it works, but definitely looks easy enough to set it up.Overall this seems to be a great item that my daughter will love and we will be able to use to learn multiple things as she grows.I love all the optional features and how many functions it has.Even though we don’t use the alarm sounds I did test them out to hear them and they sound pretty good loud but not extreme with 5 sound options to chose from. So I think it will be great as she gets older and starts learning how to wake up on her own.It will also display in regular or 24 hour (military time) as well which I thought was a pretty cool added feature that I stumbled on after realizing my little one changed it. Took me a minute but realized if you hold down the time button it will switch between them.

My kids love this alarm clock. They like that you can set the light to come on when it's time for bed and when it's time to wake up. They love that the cat face blinks and winks. The different color settings are fun to play with, too. The only thing it's missing that would make it perfect is the ability to play the music or white noise on it's own.

Un mot: J'adore!!! Le réveil est super. Il permet à l'enfant de savoir si c'est le jour ou la nuit (les parents déterminent les horaires). Plusieurs sonneries de réveil mais possibilité alarme silencieuse aussi ... Le réveil fonctionne grâce à sa batterie, se charge sur secteur mais une fois chargé possibilité de le mettre où l'on souhaite sans câble.Bref, ma fille l'adore, il est vraiment très mignon, réveil et veilleuse à la fois.

Die Anleitung ist im Grunde gut strukturiert, jedoch bleiben einige Fragen offen. Die Übersetzung ist grauenvoll.Die Zeiteinstellung ist leicht gemacht. Auch kann man ganz einfach eine Beleuchtung wählen (gelb leider nicht schön warm, sondern eher grünstichig). Drückt man beide zweiten Knöpfe an den Seiten verhindert man, dass man ausversehen irgendetwas verstellt, wenn man den Wecker nimmt und an die Tasten kommt (Kindersicherung).Die Beleuchtung (bunt, 10 Farben/Farbverläufe zur Auswahl) ist leider nicht dimmbar, nur das warmweiße Licht ist in drei Stufen möglich (das gefällt mir gut).Der Wecker läuft auch ohne Kabel/Steckdose, allerdings nur 2-3 Tage. Die Augen blinzeln alle zehn Sekunden (wenn man den Wecker bei Arbeiten oder Ferngucken im Blickfeld hat macht einen das Wahnsinnig 😊!).Grün (Weckalarm) soll 60 Minuten leuchten (blieb manchmal einfach länger an, bis man eine Taste drückte), Rot (Schlafalarm) 13 Stunden. Das finde ich doch sehr seltsam, da es dann zur roten Dauerbeleuchtung wird und die Batterie so schneller geschwächt wird (ohne Beleuchtung hält der Wecker länger durch).Ich kenne es von anderen Weckern, die ab einer bestimmten Uhrzeit Rot anzeigen, damit das Kind weiß, es ist noch Schlafenszeit/keine Zeit zum Aufstehen (aber meines Wissens nicht die ganze Nacht über, bzw. 13 Stunden!), dann wechselt es zu Gelb, dann weiß man, es ist bald Morgen, bei Grün kann dann aufgestanden werden. So stellte ich mir den Katzenwecker eigentlich vor.Wenn man die lang leuchtende Grüne/Rote Beleuchtung nicht möchte, bleibt einem nur, die Weck-/Schlafzeiten zu deaktivieren. Die Töne (4 zur Auswahl) habe ich sowieso ausgeschaltet, da sie mir selbst auf niedrigster Stufe zu laut sind.Alles in allem ein süßer Wecker mit einigen Funktionen aber nicht ganz perfekt und vor allem mit 37€ auch nicht gerade günstig.
