From the time I unpackaged this camera, I could tell it was a quality built item. After I programmed it on my app and saw the picture it produced, I was amazed! The clarity, is unsurpassed, and the detail at night is astonishing. Very vivid! The 4K picture is incredible. Using the CamHi app, it is so easy and simple to get up and running. Five minutes at best. I live in a place where we have inclement weather and wind and sometimes it can get 20 below zero and snowstorms. I've never had a problem with this camera yet. Great value and a great product.

Very good camera. Metal construction could be better. I broke the plastic pivot mount while installing it. The interface is good. not NDAA compliant. I would strongly recommend any camera stay at 4K. 8MP or better. Similar to Reolink which is better constructed. LaView also good but not equal to either.

This is one of the cameras I've been using in my security system for a couple weeks. The image quality and the color depth are amazing. Set up was pretty straightforward. Remote access is achieved by HICAM or HICAMPRO on IOS / Android. You can access the camera via HIP2P on Mac or Windows. You can log into and configure or watch the image from a browser by IP (most major browsers seem to be supported).My NVR found the camera immediately over ONVIF. I was able to also get a stream on my Raspberry PI using RSTP on MOTION.When in normal night mode, the infrared lamps really light up the area in front of the camera. The night color mode will throw white light when an alarm is triggered. My preference was the normal night mode as the iris of the camera isn’t adjusting to a new light level when alarmed. When enabled, the camera will put a green frame around the objects that have triggered motion.

The media could not be loaded. The first thing I did was confirm the video resolution is really 8 MP and it is according to the file properties of the vid I downloaded. Fortunately, I was able to connect to and use it even with my mobile hotspot which has a very slow cell signal. I like that you can choose in the settings whether a light comes on at night. I don't want there to be a light because I want to record animals. There's an option to have the alerts sent to you by email instead by push notification which is really valuable for me. I'm using it with the CamHipro app.I like that this doesn't require a wall power outlet. I wouldn't be able to use it at all if it required that. I can power it straight from any 12V battery using a barrel connector to SAE connector adapter which I bought off amazon.

If you're looking for a well-constructed and high-definition camera, this is the one. The SV3C brand has been in business for many years now. Easy installation and the CamHi app is very user-friendly

The camera itself looks good but the awful video file format just kills this camera. I already have HEVC codec loaded on my computer for other brand security and action cam stuff but the video files, .264 & .265 format is just too difficult to work with. With all the compatibility notes on this camera I though I could set up thru wifi and manually download the video files to watch when needed. No way. The format doesn't play natively in anything I can find so far. I even downloaded VLC which plays anything, nope..The Hip2p player will play .265 but it's so choppy that it's terrible to see any details. And this is after downloading the files to my computer first..So you have a camera with good video, good night vision but frustrating to get any usable video.I will look further for other players to see if I can download and play files easier, but at this point I plan to return it. Just too difficult to work with. I've had this for a week and will update if I get the player issues worked out.

Better quality image than previous version. Would have giving it 5 stars but the antenna mount location changed making it harder to mount and get the right angle I needed. Had to use the previous cameras antenna instead.

High quality bullet cam with great 4k resolution. Solid all metal body makes it rugged and durable. works well with Blue Iris, no issues. 24/7 recording on SD card means no events are ever missed. This camera can send alerts in a multitude of ways, FTP, Email, Siren, and more. Great 2 way audio, you can listen and talk from remote locations. Night vision is awesome, but you can use the onboard LED's for a nighttime full color viewing if you choose.
