Used for filtering tap water
Very good product. We wanted to test the hardwater that comes in bathroom taps in our building in Bangalore as the residents were complaining of hair fall and skin conditions caused by the hard water. We collected water in a bucket and dissolved around 3 tablespoons of alum. It takes 30-45 mins to clog the sediments. 1/4th of the bucket was filled with white sediments which otherwise cannot be collected if we simply keep water in buckets for longer duration. Water can be filtered off from the top and can be used for bathing and washing hair.
