Hey y’all,I needed a refresh on lamp shades and when I saw these, I thought they would look nice in our home. When the box arrived, I thought someone had made a mistake - no way this box contained two lampshades but I was wrong! There is some assembly required but fortunately, it is easy assembly. Though I followed instructions, I made errors on assembly - twice! First one was on the top circle - there is a difference - be sure to place the arms at the lower level (check the instructions - picture shows correct configuration which I didn’t follow the first time). The other error I made is the design has a definite direction and I installed it upside down. The great thing about these errors is that I found the shade was easy to uninstall and reinstall on the metal rings and once I had one shade assembled, the second was super easy. I love the nautical look of the shade and the colors are perfect in our decor. I am pleased with how they look!

I was looking to replace my older lamp shades and came across this set of two and really liked the look. Seeing them in person is even better as the textured paper used is of nice quality. While they are advertised as "yellow" in color, they are more like a deep warm shade of white when lit up providing a nice glow to the room. The medium sizing is just right for standard lamps. Highly Recommend!

These are some exceptional lamp shades! They have a rustic, authentic natural appearance that people seem to love (I've had several compliments already)! They assemble quickly, feel free to use the included printed instructions or just look as the thoughtfully designed packaging and components and you'll instinctively know what to do with the loop, the finial bracket and the velcro/clip shade itself!It has a beautiful warm glow when the lamp is turned on, I installed it on an older IKEA nightstand table lamp, it looks amazing, the medium shade size will work with smaller 8" nightstand table lamps all the way up to 16"-20" end table lamps just as well!I love that you get two shades and that they show up totally undamaged due to the innovative assembly and packing process!They look better in person that they do in the pictures too!
