Good SSD. Fast enough. Much better than a normal HDD. Worth the shift from HDD.Installl the drive properly or it might damage the mother board and the drive. Try to do it from a service center, so if something goes wrong, we can get additional help from them.I had my motherboard short-circuited and drive burned when i installed for the first time. Had the lap in warranty, so i could replace the motherboard easily ( Had a faulty port on the motherboard ) and could replace the drive from Amazon. Working fine now.

If you own a laptop with a dedicated M.2 slot then go for it immediately! SSD should be a mandatory upgrade for your laptop. After booting windows from this SSD the performance of my laptop boosted by 3-4x times! .It took forever to boot and the overall performance felt sluggish before installing this SSD but now it feels like I'm running things on an ultrabook or a very high end machine! The system has become very much responsive and there is no lag at all.It also has impacted the battery life of my laptop positively as the load from the internal HDD is reduced . I am getting upto 5-6 hrs battery backup compared to 4 hrs before.I tested it on ASUS Vivobook R542UQ with Intel i5 8th gen and Nvidia 940 MX (2GB) and 12 GB (Upgraded RAM).One thing I noticed is that the Write speed is lower than other SSD (upto 200-220 Mb/s) which is ok because General interaction of your OS for booting requires decent read speed which is good in this SSD (it is upto 400 Mb/s here).

I purchased a HP laptop that came with a 5400RPM HDD which took 50-60 seconds to boot up.I expanded the RAM to 12GB but it wasn't enough for boot up speed and application launches.The laptop has a m.2 port and I needed a M.2 SSD that would fulfill my basic requirement of cloning the OS to it and booting up fast.So, after careful consideration and looking through NVME & M.2 types comparing their prices, I zeroed in on this during Amazon sale.It has a decent read/write speed (read ~500 Mbps & write ~200-300mbps). Does what it is supposed to (boost performance).For me, it is a complete value for money at ₹2400.It was pretty easy to install in the M.2 slot. Although getting access to the slot on my laptop required me to take out the whole back cover. Yet, it was worth the upgrade and much needed. It was pretty easy to install in the slot.I did this upgrade (M.2 SSD) on a ₹22k laptop (Amazon sale) with AMD Ryzen 3 2200u CPU & expanded RAM to 12GB. It is now a powerhouse for my on-the-go development works.Overall, the laptop heats less, HDD magnetic disk read/write noises have reduced since it is not used frequently.The best product at this bargain.

I bought a similar SSD stick 2 months ago and loved it so much I told everyone how my pc now boots in barely 3 seconds. I decided to update my other main machine, the one I network at home. I bought a different ADATA stick and it's been issues. Runs hot, has errors, and over the past month or so, it's been slowing down. Doesn't really make sense but... that's how I perceived it. So, I got this stick which is slightly newer than the original WD stick and because this one has energy efficiencies that the other didn't. anyhow, I installed it, put original Hd in, cloned it to this new SSD stick, set the boot drive and viola! This machine boots in barely 3 seconds. I'm so happy I can't even describe it! I hope it lasts, it should. I also hoe it reduces energy consumption. It should. Very happy.Ps- Please Check If you have PCIE M.2 Slot of Sata M.2 Slot. It will not Work in PCIE Slot. Best one that can be brought for someone under tight budget like me .Performance wise is not that great ,but still is pretty good for an M.2 SATA 3 .I would surely recommend it for those who are in need of a upgrade to thier booting drive .I personally use it as my Steam Library Drive so that games are a lot faster ,On HDD loading time was about 15 secs ,now on this their is no loading time .Brought it for RS. 3,237.00That's what was expected for this .

Seller send me a normal sata SSD instead of m.2 after replacement got the same sata SSD this item can't even refunded so pathetic for me sata SSD is useless since I want to use it in my laptop as secondary storage

This is a good m.2 ssd, but its write speed is a bit tricky. Its actually as fast as an hdd, once the onboard dram fills up.Its only suitable for small data sets (i.e. windows installation).The read speed is however spot on. I ordered this for making a usb out of it using an NGEF enclosure via usb3.1. Worked as intended but the PCB is a little 'thicker', i.e. it wasn't cut out properly, hence creates some problems.But overall I'm still happy. Write endurance is 40TBW.

Bom custo benefício, deu vida nova ao meu notebook. Tenho outro note usando ssd com a mesma capacidade. Para Home office é o suficiente. Até agora não apresentou problema algum. Apesar de ser simples a instalação, algumas marcas perdem a garantia se não for feito por autorizada. Verificar antes.

I placed the ssd in my laptop to move the operating system over to, and I saw great improvements to the loading times and speed when moving around windows. This ssd is best used with another hard drive or storage because of the size. this wont be enough for storing games and maybe will just too little for storing lots of work files. The item arrive on time and in enough packaging that I felt it was safe from damage.Conclusion:because of the size I wouldn't recommend the item on its own, use with another storage. I would only put my operating system on the ssd and very small amounts of data too. if you use the full 120GB you might start seing issues with windows as it needs to create temporary files to operate correctly.

Ce disque SSD boost vraiment les performances de l'ordinateur ! C'est bluffant !Très bonne performances sur le benchmark, et pas de problème avec pour l'instant.Juste, il n'est pas totalement silencieux mais fait un petit bruit aiguë à l'accès (quasiment inaudible sauf dans un silence complet).Je recommande vivement !

Les habrá mejores, no lo dudo, pero a este precio la calidad hace de este WD un producto más que recomendable para portatiles y sobremesas de uso común donde se desea utilizar el ssd como principal de sistema y programas de mayor uso completandolo con un hdd tradicional para almacenamiento de datos. Este disco prodra ser de los mas básicos de su gama pero para un uso como digo cotidiano no es necesario gastar mas dinero.La instalación ha sido perfecta, montarlo y reconocido al que momento, instalar Windows 10 y funcionando rapidísimo (alrededor de 15 segundos para el arranque). La instalacion de programas y su uso, apertura de archivos... Todo va muy fluido. Muy contento y satisfecho con la compra. Tengo otros dos ssd (Kingston y Sandisk) similares en otros dos ordenadores y este WD me parece que es el que mejor resultado está dando de momento. Lo recomiendo.

マザーボードの M2 スロットが余っていて勿体ないのでこちらの SSD を HDDキャッシュ＋テンポラリドライブとして利用しています。この SSD は M2 ですが SATA タイプなので速度は SATA/6G のものと変わりません。でも HDD よりは断然早くテンポラリとしては十分ですね。IRST で HDD キャッシュも有効にしてますので全体的にかなり速くなりました。安かったですし費用対効果は大満足です。
