Prestige PCMD 1.0 650-Watt Drip Coffee Maker, Multi Color

For those of you who are gonna buy this product here's a few points which can help you decide if this product is right for you :)Pros:1) This is an espresso maker (it makes good filtered coffee).2) It has permanent filter which saves you money on a long run.3) It makes more than 600ml coffee which is sufficient for everyone at home if you have a small family.4) The brand name. Yes, you have read it right. Prestige is a good Indian company and my product got registered the next day itself when i mailed them the warranty card details.5) You will need to buy grounded coffee and not INSTANT coffee ( grounded coffee is cheaper and good if you are a coffee lover and drink coffee every morning)6) Build quality is plastic but looks nice and shiny like the iPhone jet black version :PCons:1) It does not have frothing function2) It just makes regular coffee like you make on a gas stove3) Maintaining the coffee maker can be a hassle since you have to wash the removable filter every time you make coffee.

Good design and easy to use machine however not sure how long the plastic body will last. Will see in due course of time.Should buy....

Dont think of buying this item unless you want a running lukewarm water in your coffee cup. Moreover there is no thermo cut off. The lukewarm water will keep on flowing till the end. Appears like a good showpiece in my kitchen right now. Since I cannot use it for coffee making. I am using it as a show piece in my kitchen

Excellent product. The design is so sleek. Much better than I expected. Makes 6 cups. Very neat design very efficient. Looks great in the kitchen. Go for it...

It's nice product.Pros: Easy to use, Easy to clean & QuickCons:1) Leakage: I don't know whether it is with my piece, there is a slight leak from the bottom knob observed after 1min of operation. It is supposed hold the coffee till glass flask is inserted at the bottom. Whereas in my case, it is leaking before inserting the flask. It leaks to the bottom plate which is hot. So cleaning becomes an irritating process.2) Not so hot: Bottom plate is the heating platform, which is supposed to heat the flask further for an optimum temperature. But, the heat supplied isn't enough in my opinion. I'm taking coffee out of the flask into a bowl and heating it further on an induction stove.

Good performance

I want to clear one thing that this is a drip coffee maker and not a espresso or decoction maker.The outcome is clear black coffee. Ofcourse you can add more coffee and less water to get more stronger brew.The product does its job perfectly and it's worth the money paid. It takes time to get used to the water : coffee : brewing time ratio. Perfect machine at this price range.

Though the plastic feels cheap and weak, it is the best at this price range. The heating pad slightly burns the coffee. Double layer filter would have been good.
